The host Bert made us feel so welcomed and at home. He even drove us to the event we were visiting in one of the near towns. The communication was great at all points before and during our stay. We were delighted with the provided breakfast, there were healthy options with plenty of choice. Everything was taken care of in terms of cleanliness, amenities, comfort and quiet.

We decided to stay here for just one night on our way to our final destination, but had I known it was such a beautiful place, we would have extended our stay. Kasteel Engelenburg is a historic hotel with lots of atmosphere which offers delicious breakfasts and dinners. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious and comfortable room in what I believe were the converted stables. It had its own terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. We will definitely make an effort to come back!

I had read some reviews mentioning that the hotel was dirty, noisy, and had poor internet, so I was a bit worried before arriving. However, our experience was completely different! Very friendly and helpful staff. A clean and comfortable room with surprisingly cozy pillows (even though they looked quite thin). Fast and stable internet connection. Although our window faced the restaurant, it was perfectly quiet after 10 p.m., and we could sleep with the window open. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options and really good coffee. Beautiful surroundings, perfect for walking with our dog. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future visits.

Very nice hotel for stopover while driving from Germany to the ferry in Amsterdam The bowling alley and pool were great fun. The dinner was amazing as was the breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Staff extremely helpful
