Our host was very welcoming and accommodating. She kept appropriate distance given the pandemic measures, which we really appreciated. There was also plenty of hand sanitizer available. She even provided us with an extra remote to control the TV (besides the normal one for the receiver) so that we could watch TV shows we had brought on a hard drive. Finally, she also did our laundry for us, which was very nice (especially since we were hiking, meaning our dirty clothes were exceptionally stinky). The room was spatious and pretty, and the facilities were great. Breakfast was delicious. Bikes were available to go into Zelhem, but we chose to walk. This was our favorite place to stay while walking the Pieterpad.
