Hugo, the Inn Keeper, was maybe the best host we've ever experienced. He made us feel so incredibly welcome and was full of suggestions about where to go and drives to take. We cooked our own dinner in the kitchen provided in the annex building but he invited us over to the main lodge to eat it in the lovely main room and set a beautiful table for us, offering and pouring an excellent bottle of wine (we bought 2, it was so good) and surprising us with waffles for dessert. Breakfast was a plentiful spread with many options from yogurt/granola to cold cuts and fruit. Lots more than that. All super fresh and beautifully presented. And when we said goodbye he sent us off with warm waffles for the road.
