We loved our cabin. More room than expected.

The location is perfect, off the beaten track by a beautiful lake. The staff were fantastic, feels like a family run place and everyone was very helpful and accommodating. They also had an amazing dog, but it is kept away from guests for anyone that isn't so keen.

This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

Wow, what an awesome location and living space, we would have loved to stay for several days had our schedule allowed it. The main living dining room with high ceiling, wood beams, great views, is a wonderful place to spend time, and great kitchen facilities as well. The house looks far away from everything but it's only 8min by bus from the nearby town of Krossen, if you miss the last bus it's an hour walk. You are responsible for taking your trash to the nearby trash station, not conveninent without a car, but I guess most visitors will come by car so no big deal.
