Fjordside Lodge is a self-catering accommodations featuring sea and mountain view apartments in Bergen. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We loved our stay at that place. The host, Rita, is a very friendly, helpful and creative person, giving great advice for things to see and do in that area. The lodge is located directly around a large lake with an amazing view on the surroundings. We ate every morning outside on the terraces, which are accessible by all guests, enjoying the beautiful nature. There is also the possibility to use two barbecue facilities, where again we were friendly supported by Rita and her husband and can only recommend to use by other guests. Furthermore, Rita even organizes free fishing trips with a local fisher which are for free and probably a great trip for people who want to enjoy fishing in that area. We didn't use that offer though, since we are vegans. Thank you Rita we really loved our stay and enjoyed Norway very much. The location itself is convenient, only 20 minutes from Bergen city by car, 30 from the airport and 5 minutes from 2 supermarkets. However, a car is a must have in that area in our opinion.
