Exceptional place to stay. We did not want to leave anymore as it felt like home. Olivier has transcribed his love and passion for navigation and expedition into this ecolodge. It is absolutely beautiful and cosy with amazing views. On top, if you have the chance to talk to Olivier, he has great stories about his expeditions and work that we are grateful he shared with us. It is important to respect this place, which is breathing of adventures.

Dear Booking.com Customer Support Team, Good morning, I am writing to formally report a serious and concerning incident that occurred today at the property we booked through your platform. While opening the shower door during normal use, the glass shower door suddenly detached from its hinge and fell, shattering on the bathroom floor. No unusual force was applied, and the door appeared to come loose on its own. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the situation was extremely dangerous and could have resulted in serious harm. We immediately informed the landlord of the incident. I am now reporting this to Booking.com as the issue appears to be related to a maintenance or safety failure, and I believe it is important for you to be aware of the condition of the property listed on your platform. The location was fantastic. It was very remote, about an hour from Tromsø, and far from any businesses. Take your own groceries, especially coffee. The apartment was very nice and clean. The bedrooms were more spacious than other places we'd stayed in Norway with a nice bathroom and good sized living room. The best part was the large balcony. Also, the sauna was extremely nice despite how warm it was outside and proved especially comfy after a good hike. And of course Espen was the best host!!

Modern cabin with all the necesities. Cecilie and her husband were excellent hosts, and their cabin is highly recommended. The communication was excellent, and the directions were very helpful. There are many hikes into the mountains with the most amazing views. An ideal place to unwind and relax. The ultimate bonus was seeing the northern lights on 2 of the 3 nights we spent there.

The property is well equipped, clean, welcoming, and has everything you could want, all set in a dreamlike natural setting. The owner was extremely welcoming. He asked us frequently if we needed anything else, even though he had already provided us with everything we required. The area where the house is located is extremely favorable for viewing the Northern Lights.
