The Apartment was perfect, modern and romatic. Isolated but everything we need is close by. Amazing view and easy to drive too. Very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and gave us alot of information about the local area.

We had a comfortable stay in cosy, clean and nicely decorated house. There was everything we needed. We enjoyed nice views from the cottage terrase. Hosts were friendly and gave valuable tips.

The place is absolutely amazing. The house is built and furnished in scandinavian style. The owners took care not only of its style but also of the necessary facilities, for example: cutlery, dishes or hoover. The living room has large windows offering a beautiful view of Lake Krøderen. You can take a rowboat on the lake or relax on the privet beach surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The house and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful. There are beautiful walking trails nearby like Norefjell Mountain. We had a wonderful time there and completely relaxed. Helen, the owner, is incredible person. TUSEN TAKK for your warm welcome and hospitality!

Lovely small place surrounded by stunning nature.

Lovely small place surrounded by stunning nature. Very cozy coffee place across Spar shop, closer to the road. It is together with the hotel and they serve exceptional waffles with vanilla ice-cream and blueberry jam. Great fries and burgers! We stayed in the cabin/private cottage and enjoyed our 4-days trip. Absolutely stunning Mountain View’s and very scenic surroundings! Great time spent with the family!

Nice little mountain village, with all facilities, such as...

Nice little mountain village, with all facilities, such as Spar supermarket, vinmonoplet alcohol shop as well as some other small shops selling clothes and local specialties (e.g. local beef at Trollbua) In Eggedal you can find a "xy" petrol station. Be aware that many of the small roads leading up mountains and/or sights, or roads "cutting" otherwise long distance as well as roads to holiday houses are in many cases quiet expensive toll roads. If its a toll roads its either indicated by a sign along with the provider and how to pay it, or direct payment at a pay machine at he gate/boom. Lots of options for fishing in the area, but be sure you check where to get the appropriate fishing license for which waters (at times it can be not very straight-forward to understand for foreigners). You can buy fishing licenses for some waters/lake at the petrol station in Eggedal and/or at the tourist information
