The staff are exceptionally friendly- we arrived later than expected, the front desk staff was waiting for us; the kitchen staff also lent us bowels so we could eat dinner; staff waited patiently for us to finish breakfast even though it’s already closed. The house has a lovely lounge and garden. The rooms are spacious and water pressure in the bathroom is good.

Eidsdal is a small village of about 400 inhabitants.

Eidsdal is a small village of about 400 inhabitants. They have a large coop shop (open early till late) & a few souvenir shops, that open from 11am. The ferry from Eidsdal to Linge is very frequent, & it’s absolutely worth exploding Valdall which has a lot of activities on offer. The surrounding nature is bedituful, cliffs & mountains, with waterfalls & beauty. And not that many tourists, even in Aug :)

The area of Eisdal is one of the most beautiful in the...

The area of Eisdal is one of the most beautiful in the fiords zone in Norway beeing really close to Norddsalfjorden and Geiranger Fjorden. There are several possibilities for hiking reaching some really panoramic summit like Grojet and Keipan. We also took the chance to visit Alesund driving for 90 km.
