The property location is the best surrounded by snow peaks right on the fjord and very reasonably priced. The staff was very cordial and nice. The rooms were cosy and nice, would definitely recommend to everyone for a stay here.

Ole has taken on the running of his family hotel. He and his team genuinely care about their guests, many of whom become friends. The shared supper in the Viking Barn was great bit of theatre and great fun. Highly recommended

Great staff, great people, cordial atmosphere in this guest house which was very cosy, clean and warm. I felt like home ! The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. It will be definitely one of my favourite places to stay in Norway ! 🇳🇴 I highly recommend it.

We ended up staying here after planning to stay around Geiranger and then realising there is limited accommodation options. Whilst a little more expensive than our usual accommodations it certainly provided a lot for the money. It had everything you needed. Two big bedrooms upstairs, a full kitchen with everything including full fridge and freezer which is great for self catering and a microwave as well which was unexpected (seems maybe added in response to previous feedback). Washing machine in the bathroom with a large airer to help dry things. So much living space and lovely outdoor sitting areas as well. Free hot tub and white robes to use for this. You really couldn’t ask for anything more and would have been a great place to have stayed for more than 1 night.

The area of Eisdal is one of the most beautiful in the fiords zone in Norway beeing really close to Norddsalfjorden and Geiranger Fjorden. There are several possibilities for hiking reaching some really panoramic summit like Grojet and Keipan. We also took the chance to visit Alesund driving for 90 km.
