We loved everything about this place!best place we stayed in this trip.(and we did sleep in some great places,but this was one was the best)The pictures don't do justice with it. Breathtaking views from all the windows. The design was so warm and it felt like home to us. The owner was sweet and so kind and helped us with everything we needed. Long story short, highly recommend!

I was thrilled about this cozy cabin. It was comfortable for 3 adults, and so gorgeous nature and view. We worried about cold. We are so replayed that it would be cold, but it was very warm all night. Separate shower and toilets are very clean, even catching Wi-Fi. This has exceeded all our expectations, I highly recommend this place

Ole has taken on the running of his family hotel. He and his team genuinely care about their guests, many of whom become friends. The shared supper in the Viking Barn was great bit of theatre and great fun. Highly recommended

Beautifully restored traditional old hotel. We had the top floor suite. Very spacious and comfortable. Absolutely wonderful receptionist…couldn’t be more helpful.

Super comfortable and clean apartment located in a peaceful location close to Stordal. Having a washing machine was so convenient, as we had been travelling for a week, and had another week remaining of our trip. The owners, Christine and Ole made my husband's birthday something really special by arranging dinner in the Viking House that evening. The food and service in the hotel was outstanding, as was the breakfasts. We ended up staying an extra night in the hotel due to the storm that had caused extensive disruptions to the Norwegian infrastructure (road closures due to flooding and landslides close to our next destination), but fortunately not in the area close to the hotel. I can't recommend either the hotel or the apartments highly enough. Everything from the owner's passion for providing their guests with an unforgettable experience to the location really is outstanding!

The area of Eisdal is one of the most beautiful in the fiords zone in Norway beeing really close to Norddsalfjorden and Geiranger Fjorden. There are several possibilities for hiking reaching some really panoramic summit like Grojet and Keipan. We also took the chance to visit Alesund driving for 90 km.
