The hotel is super beautiful and the location in the middle of nature is just perfect. You get everywhere real quick to Alesund, Geiranger, Trollstigen… The owners are super kind and gave us a free upgrade. The food is amazing. This was the best hotel we have stayed in Norway so far.

Super comfortable and clean apartment located in a peaceful location close to Stordal. Having a washing machine was so convenient, as we had been travelling for a week, and had another week remaining of our trip. The owners, Christine and Ole made my husband's birthday something really special by arranging dinner in the Viking House that evening. The food and service in the hotel was outstanding, as was the breakfasts. We ended up staying an extra night in the hotel due to the storm that had caused extensive disruptions to the Norwegian infrastructure (road closures due to flooding and landslides close to our next destination), but fortunately not in the area close to the hotel. I can't recommend either the hotel or the apartments highly enough. Everything from the owner's passion for providing their guests with an unforgettable experience to the location really is outstanding!
