Nestled in the Flåm valley just 3 km from Flåm train station and the stunning Aurlandsfjord, these cottages enjoy valley views from their porch terraces. Location was excellent. The views were amazing. The hosts were exceptional. They went the extra mile and offered to pick us up from town and drive us to the train the next day. So nice and accommodating. The cabin, built by the host, was extremely clean and well equipped, with lovely bed linen and fresh towels. We really couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend it.
Set in Flåm in the Sogn og Fjordane region, Steinshølen Holiday Home features a patio and river views. This holiday home has a garden and free private parking. The whole property was excellent - incredibly clean, well furnished and decorated, with everything you need available. The owners were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing views in a great location!
This property is located within 300 metres of Flåm Train Station and Navvies’ Bicycle Road. Da limpeza, da receptividade e da localização. Clean and beautiful cabins and a lovely staff. The location is wonderful. Very close to train station. Walking distance.
This hostel is 1 km from Flåm Station and the Aurlandfjord shore. It offers a guest kitchen, TV lounge and large garden with BBQ. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Wonderful location, VERY friendly and helpful staff, large and comfortable rooms and kitchen, very clean and warm. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who stays in Flam.
Brekke Apartments offers self-catering accommodation, within 10 minutes' walk of central Flåm. Free Wi-Fi access is available. All apartments have a well-equipped kitchenette and a private patio. Our unit was in a good Location, close to all amenities as host moved us into town.
Not worth staying overnight in this town. The ferry trip & the railway were lovely, but no point staying. I very nearly couldn't find anywhere to eat for dinner as the only place open was booked out. Thank goodness they squeezed me into a quiet corner.
A great place to spend a couple of nights, walks interesting and easy, scenery wonderful, bakery offers excellent food, a boat tour of the fjord is spectacular and the Flam railway is a highlight as well as up to Steganstein viewpoint
Had an overnight stay in Flam following train and bus from Bergen. Lots of NIN travelling through to Oslo but when they left it was quiet and relaxing to walk around the port area. A good handful of places to eat, but like most Scandinavian countries, expensive.. Took Flam railway early next morning with only a small crowd on train which was good for viewing on both sides of carriage. Was glad to spend a night in Flam.
Definitely a place with a very touristy focus but that doesn't take away from just how lovely it is. Nicer when there isn't a cruise ship in port. The Aegir BrewPub is a great place to enjoy a selection of very nice beers and good food with a fun Viking vibe and I'd recommend walking to the Brekkefossen waterfall even if you're caught in classic Norwegian fjord weather. There seemed to be a few other activities that looked like good fun for people staying longer too. As nice as the town is the highlights are probably getting there and leaving. Personally I arrived on a ferry from Bergen that sailed through the majestic Sognefjord and left on the iconic Flåmsbana. Both highly recommended. I had been in the country a very short time upon arrival in Flåm, a total of 13 hours, but after arriving in Flåm and climbing up the hill overlooking the town my overall thoughts were "yeah, I really like Norway". One of the best first impressions the country could have possibly given me.
I was coming from a 5 hour Fjord Cruise from Bergen and was hesitant to get straight on a 6 hour train journey from Oslo the same day due to long travel hours. However, I wish I had as there isn't much to do in Flam. The two trips didn't feel much like an exhausting travel day as it was due to how scenic both of them are, so I think it would have been completely fine powering all the way through to Oslo. While in Flam, hiking was a nice afternoon activity, but the hikes in Bergen were better. The gem of Flam is the brewery. If you do chose to go straight through to Oslo in the same day, definitely give yourself at least an hour or two to grab some food and beers at this Viking Hall inspired location.
Flam is spectacular. Loved every minute. Views are incredible. This is the place to be. Stay at the Flam Marina. It has the best view and is right on the water. Love, love, love this place. It is paradise.

Flam is a small town and everything is conveniently located next to everything. There's a local convenience store that was popular to stock up on goods so you could prepare or cook dishes in the shared kitchen, which was well resourced. The room was decently large, as was the bathroom. Keeping in line with hostel standards, in terms of making your own bed, everything was quite clean. Shower pressure was good. Staff were serviceable. Also very peaceful. Given Norway prices, this was best value.

This apartment was beautiful with spectacular views of the fjord! It was spacious, clean, with a fully stocked kitchen and the staff was helpful! The woman who runs the hotel, (I did not get her name) is a one woman show! She’s very helpful and kind! The restaurant that is in the lobby at the apartment has some of the best food we had while in Norway! With a beautiful view of the fjords! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin in the nicest location, hidden between the trees with a view of the mountains and waterfall. Big cabin with all needed facilities. Very cozy, we instantly felt at home. We are sorry we had spent there only one night. The best place for relaxation Will certainly be back next time we are in Flam. The hostess was very kind.
