I stayed at the Arcticus in Harstad in order to meet the Havila cruise ship on the morning following my stay. From the hotel (although not my room) I could see the arrival of the ship. The breakfast was excellent. The Arcticus has a novel feature in that they provide a free buffet dinner in the early evening. The food was simple but satisfying. It really made you feel liek you were at home. This was a great way to start my visit to the Lofoten Archipelago.

It was cheap and the location was ok, but very loud people were banging things around in the very sketchy courtyard beneath my window both times I stayed there. The room was fine and clean.
