Fantastic staff and extensive property along the river. Easy drive to Kristiansand. Creative food. Loved open windows with breeze and sound of river even on rainy days. Wide range of room options. We stayed in Kornhouse with common kitchen area. Staff provided wonderful salad and wine on first night so we didn’t have to drive for dinner. Beds so comfortable. Flowers throughout property inside and out were a treat.

Very charming village and a great place to stay especially if you take the late ferry from Hirtshals. It is a smaller town but I rate that as a plus as the walkplatz is somewhat limited - which makes me feel comfortable as the people are friendly.

The hotel was located conventiently near both the train and the ferry terminal. When attempting to check in before 15:00 the desk clerk was extremely rude, interrupting and admonishing me for arriving early before I could even introduce myself. We ended up having to wait until 50 minutes after official check-in time to have access to our room. We booked the Presidential Suite and were very disappointed with it. It was old and dated, with dirty carpet, dusty surfaces and missing both the bathrobes and slippers that were listed as provided amenities. Also, it is very annoying to have a mini-bar but no prices.
There was no telephone in the room so the only way to contact the staff was by going to the front desk and waiting in line. The property is very dated and in serious need of a renovation. In addition, the staff could use a refresher course in customer courtesy.

My trip to Kristiansand was primarily to visit my son . The city is very nice during the summer and believe that there are more activities, but not much to do during the winter , not unless it’s for shopping 🛍

The clean pure air you breathed in.
The clean pure air you breathed in. We had great food at Patrick's Bar, the Ranch Steak house and Egon's. Had great fun hiring the scooters a good fun way to get back to accommodation. Scenery breathtaking. People very friendly and converse very well in English.
Stayed with 3 people in a large room just for a night.
We already stayed in other Radisson Blu Hotels in Norway during our Road Trip and this one was the best we experienced.
+ Large room and window
+ Many lightings available in the room
+ Clean room, bed, and towels
+ Great diverse breakfast menu included
+ Cozy and large Lobby with luxurious interior design
+ A Pub next door with good music etc.
Definitely recommend this Hotel.
Good hotel to stay for a night or 2 when vsiting dyreparken or on the way to the ferry. Room was rather small with little playe for luggage. Good value dinner buffet with interesting chices of meals. Breakfast also very good but quite pricy. Missed a choice of jams...
Very nice hotel in the center of the town. Very friendly reception personnel. Received a complimentary bottle of water. Nice continental breakfast included in the price. Very comfortable beds.
Clean comfortable room. The breakfast was good and had a large variety. Parking was right next door after booking with the hotel. Central location. Would stay again.
