The property is very close to the Leknes Airport, approximately 4 mins driving. The apartment is big enough for 2 people, with kitchen and private bathroom, and an open-air parking. The hostess was warm-hearted, and we asked for some salt and oil for cooking. The price was reasonable for 2 persons, which is a good option to stay in Leknes.

The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was...

The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was great for exploring the south and north. Shopping and dining were within walking distance of the apartment. I had a tasty fish and chips at the Diggs restaurant. The Bunpass grocery store had a lot to offer, and they had the best cinnamon rolls!

Leknes is not the real tourist draw in the lofoten, but is...

Leknes is not the real tourist draw in the lofoten, but is central with a lot of busses going through if you don't bring a car. The bakery near the bus station and Sakura can be recommended. We didn't try other places.

Leknes is extremely convenient if it's the first time you're staying in Lofoten. There are plenty towns to visit within a 1.5 hour range of driving and if we had more time we would have ventured further. We only stayed for 4 nights but it was enough to visit a number of well known towns/villages like Henningsvær, Nusfjord, Å, Reine, and Svolvær. It is a very small town but it has everything you need like a large grocery store, a fairly large mall, some great take away places like Pizza Bakeren, conveniently located charging stations for your electric vehicle, plus some hiking trails very close by which I think is the norm throughout Lofoten in general. The airport was only 7 mins from where we stayed and it's also very easy to get to. The Lofoten Bakeri is a very popular cafe and bakery and has excellent coffee. I highly recommend Leknes as an entry point into Lofoten. Next time I will stay in Svolvær purely because it's a larger city with more connection points to activities etc, and because of it's proximity to popular places further north. You need minimum 2-3 weeks in Lofoten itself if you really want to experience it fully, but I would stay for months if time and finances allowed!

Leknes was easy to get around for groceries or drinks. We had a great meal at Digg. Anita's in Reine is worth the trip for the fish sandwich! Spectacular scenery - everywhere! Could have stayed another week.

Leknes is an incredible place, easily accesible through the E10 road and strategically located in the Lofoten islands so that you can access a miriad of wonderful sites within <1h ride. Plenty of services like supermarkets, petrol stations. A perfect basecamp for your trip to Lofoten.

We had Leknes as a base for our trip as we did excursions...

We had Leknes as a base for our trip as we did excursions from here. We flew here and rented a car. We climbed the mountain Mannen at Haukland beach. A challenge and it got worse because it was raining. About 15 minutes away is also the Viking Museum. It was nice! Close to various shops and grocery stores, there are several of them. We cooked at home because there is both a stove and an oven.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment in Leknes. The location is absolutely ideal — right in the center of the island, making it a perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Lofoten. Whether you're heading to Haukland Beach, Reine, or the mountain trails, everything is within easy reach, within about a 50 km radius. The apartment itself is clean and well-maintained. The price is very reasonable. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and affordable place to stay in Leknes.

The room was nice and comfy. The hotel is conveniently situated, very close to the shops and restaurants, and not very far from the buses and the local hiking path either. Overall a good place to use as a basecamp to visit the southern part of the Lofoten. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice, even for people allergic to lactose or gluten, or if you are vegan like me! And of course, as seems to be the norm in Scandic hotels, the staff was great and the service impeccable.

It's good place by the sea. Easy parking, but if you are without the car there is the bus that comes across all the Lafoten several times a day. The stop of this bus is in 600 m from the camp. The taxi to the airport Leknes costs 400 NOK. Bring some food with you. There is a small fridge and cattle.

The placement not far from Leknes is great, the apartment is spacious, clean and cozy. We arrived late in the night and it was easy to find and get into the apartment. The owner came to greet us the next day morning, it was very pleasant. We can definitely recommend the place.
