This is the best location of the villa by lakeside. You can see the northen light with the luxury view from here. The kithen and living room were very big and all the kitchen equipment is promptly provided. There are no heater in very bedrooms but when I request, they provide portable heater to us promptly. We are very happy to stay here!

Leknes is extremely convenient if it's the first time you're staying in Lofoten. There are plenty towns to visit within a 1.5 hour range of driving and if we had more time we would have ventured further. We only stayed for 4 nights but it was enough to visit a number of well known towns/villages like Henningsvær, Nusfjord, Å, Reine, and Svolvær.
It is a very small town but it has everything you need like a large grocery store, a fairly large mall, some great take away places like Pizza Bakeren, conveniently located charging stations for your electric vehicle, plus some hiking trails very close by which I think is the norm throughout Lofoten in general.
The airport was only 7 mins from where we stayed and it's also very easy to get to. The Lofoten Bakeri is a very popular cafe and bakery and has excellent coffee. I highly recommend Leknes as an entry point into Lofoten. Next time I will stay in Svolvær purely because it's a larger city with more connection points to activities etc, and because of it's proximity to popular places further north. You need minimum 2-3 weeks in Lofoten itself if you really want to experience it fully, but I would stay for months if time and finances allowed!

I visited Lofoten Islands for a photo workshop.
I visited Lofoten Islands for a photo workshop. The scenery is outstanding. The photos workshop was very helpful for me. The Leknes airport was the smallest airport I have ever seen and there was only ONE taxi there. I ended up walking with my luggage for about an hour to a pizza joint and one of the waitresses called a taxi for me. The Hamnoy area is mind-blowing.
The cabin was superb, very comfortable for 6 people , well equipped and very clean. The location was excellent, very central in the Lofoten islands and close to amenities in Leknes. The view over the water was stunning and having the deck outside was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay!
The location of the hotel is perfect for a central stay at Lofoten, as all destinations can be reached within ~1 hour.
We had a house with harbour view and used the kitchen everyday for making breakfast and dinner which safed us quite a lot money.
Comfortable beds
Location very convenient closed to thé bus station with différent destinations, and in thé centre of leknes with différent Big supermarkets.
Common kitchen nice to meet other persons
Owner available as she works in thé outdoor shop just below and live very near.
Breakfast was good. A homely feel to the layout of the public spaces. The location seemed odd at first (in a residential area) but the hotel was actually close to the Main Street in Leknes
Easy Check-in and Check-out at the reception. Got some good recommendations for restaurants.
Good starting point for exploring Leknes area on Lofoten Island.
