Electricity sockets were conveniently located near beds and the table.
Breakfast was 10/10, wide choice of foods, including local Norwegian caviar spread, several types of eggs (boiled, scrambled, fried), coffee machine, juice, yoghurts, apples, several types of ham, and many many more! Breakfast was till 09:30 on weekdays and till 10:00 on weekend, but we came a bit later than that, because we like to sleep in, and fortunately there was no problem!
TV was also nice to have.

We loved the beauty of the city.
We loved the beauty of the city. Tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful with information for sightseeing.
War museum is excellently presented. Gondola ride to the top of Narvikfjellet is a must to see the beautiful sights from above
Buses were easy to use and the plenty of shopping centres. We loved all the memorial statues, a beautiful city.
We also took a ride on the Arctic Train, suggest this is a day time trip to see the amazing scenery.

In my opinion not worth a visit.
In my opinion not worth a visit.
You might have some angle if you're into skiing or if you are a history buff at the war museum, but that's about it. Don't even think about some shopping experience.
But a very good starting point for a ride with the night train over the mountains to Stockholm! Leave in the afternoon, be in central Stockholm at noon the day after.

There isn't much happening here.
There isn't much happening here. I think that's also because we came before the skiing season. All the worthwhile things can be done in one day, maybe one and a half if you want some fjord as well.

Narvick is a bit of a hidden jem.
Narvick is a bit of a hidden jem.
We were travelling to Abisko in Sweden to view the Northern lights and a friend of mine had travelled the Loften Islands and thought they where one of the most spectacular places on earth and for a New Zealander that's a statement. So we travelled from Abisko to Narvick to spend three days there and we were not disappointed. It's a great base for a fantastic area of Norway.

The bus ride from Tromso to Narvik had amazing scenery.
The bus ride from Tromso to Narvik had amazing scenery. We visited the Narvik war museum which was very large and extremely well curated. It covered the major world wars up to the current conflict in Gaza.
We had hoped to catch the Arctic Train to Sweden but part of the trip involved a replacement bus due to a derailment so we missed the most scenic parts of the train trip.

The breakfasts were excellent and the staff very helpful. We needed some laundry doing and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
It is well located right opposite the fascinating Narvik War Museum.
Don’t be put off by the unimpressive exterior, this is a lovely hotel and I would definitely chose it again

We loved the view from our window over the port.
Reception staff excellent.
Superb breakfast although the dining room is not really big enough when the hotel is full.
The hotel is very central but it is 15 minutes uphill to the railway station.

Nice cozy budget standard room for a night or two. It is not located in the hotel where breakfast is served, but in the building next to it. Everything was clean. Breakfast is good.

The hotel was close to Narvik railway station, which was an easy walk for our trip the following day. All staff were super helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
