I stayed three nights in this comfortable and quiet place and the new owners were so warm and welcoming to me. I can highly recommend getting the hot dinner from this hotel too, the food was delicious. I found the location to be a great jumping off point to see the torghatten, heilhornet, and to go fishing. The location was awesome. Grace, the hostess, welcomed us with fresh coffee and was super nice. The house is beautifully decorated and has its own charm.

Wow what an amazing place! Our stay at Villa Grannen was honestly perfect. The villa is right by the Norwegian Sea, and the views are just unreal. Every evening we sat on the porch and watched the most beautiful sunsets with hues of orange, pink, and gold skies over the water. So peaceful and calming. What really blew us away was the wildlife. From the porch we saw otters playing and even a couple of porpoises swimming by. Out back we spotted moose (even a moose calf), deer, and tons of birds. It felt like we were in the middle of a nature documentary😊 The villa itself is super cozy and has everything you need. It’s comfy, and has a really nice, homey feel. It’s also packed with fun stuff — there are kayaks you can take out on the water, a table tennis setup, and even a gym if you feel like working out though honestly, the views are enough to take your breath away. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect, or have some fun with family or friends, this place is perfect. It would be awesome for a family reunion or just a quiet getaway. And we’ve got to mention Klaasjan the host. He was so friendly and helpful, always ready with great tips for local hikes, places to explore, and where to spot wildlife. He really made us feel welcome and at home. Q
