Surrounded by Langøya Island’s fjords and mountains, this hotel is found in the coastal town of Sortland. It offers homemade breakfast, a traditional restaurant and rooms with LCD TVs. We stayed in a cosy cabin. It has been lovingly restored and contains many authentic artefacts. We met the gentlemen who owns the cabin. It was delightful to chat to him about the history of the cabin. It was charming, comfortable and clean but most of all it was a homely Norwegian place to stay.
Situated in Sortland, 70 metres from Coastal Route Terminal Sortland, Scandic Sortland features accommodation with a restaurant, private parking, a bar and a terrace. Amazing hotel, everything was perfect (location, design, cleanliness, breakfast, the view). Would definitely stay again. Would stay in this city just for this hotel.
Skjellbogen Hyttegrend features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Sortland, 20 km from Coastal Route Terminal Sortland. Whole cozy and clean apartment, with all services needed! Perfect location, secluded enough, quiet and private, with a very helpful host. Recommended!
Set in Sortland, 8 km from Coastal Route Terminal Sortland, Art Studio offers accommodation with a bar, free private parking, a garden and ski-to-door access. The location is wonderful! So much to see... and Paul is fantastic! Can't wait to go back some time!
Sortland is the main city and the center of life in the Vesteralen archipelago, meaning that it has good shopping possibilities. It is not particularly attractive as a city but a good stopover. Its pecularity is an artistic move to paint buildings in blue, in order to belie its name, meaning 'the Black Land'. There are not so many places for eating out, but we had a pleasant dinner at "Du Verden", located near the quay in the downtown area.
Gorgeous city with everything a person could want!! And friendly people. Could use more choice of restaurants - but the 2 that are there were very good with friendly staff. Lots of shopping & tons of history
This hotel is amazing value. Sortland is not a great town, but the hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, and have the most beautiful views over the fjord. The lounge/bar area has a lovely calm ambience with superb views. Breakfast is varied and excellent, and the staff were very friendly.
Great place. Land lord was very nice. Immediately made us comfortable in his property. Place is very scenic. Near by fjord, barbecue place on shore. It is green everywhere. Very low traffic during our stay. Very good roads, not far from Sortland.
Breakfast was very nice. For dinner go to the library, it is a very cosy place although service has room for improvement. In many areas of the hotel you could see artwork. Car park is just outside
The strong aspect for this hotel is its location as it is at less than 5 minutes from the bus station and the center.
