This is a lodge, and although it is quite basic, the location and hosts were exceptionally nice and friendly. Bishnu is very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora and the area more generally. The food was delicious, and the experience was extremely relaxing and pleasant. Would definitely go back!

An excellent and welcoming hotel in the Chitwan National Park area. Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed the rich breakfast, vegetables, fruit and if the breakfast was not buffet style, it was possible to order directly with the chef's recommendation. Quiet outdoor seating by the pool. The insulation from the jungle heat was fantastic. Accommodation in cabins with all comfort and cleanliness. Everything down to the last detail. Foods generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is generally a matter of Nepal. The air conditioning is perfect and necessary, the toilet is clean, daily cleaning, the possibility to make coffee, fast internet as a matter of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. Safari is a chapter unto itself. Breakfast in the jungle is inimitable. We saw a rhino right across the river from the hotel. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. The price level is excellent, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. A clear choice for us.

This is the best guesthouse I have ever been to. Manoj and his family are adorable. The food is great, the room is cosy and i loved my walking safari in the jungle where I could spot many animals. I felt like at home and wish i extented my stay because it was so relaxing ;)

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! the rooms are beautifully designed and very large. they are adding meeting rooms and sauna. the safari was awesome. they take you around for a long time and we saw many rhinos. the forest is very nice.

Green Chwadi felt like a little paradise for me. The surroundings are beautiful and it's right in nature. The staff is so incredibly accommodating, they made me feel like a princess and always took care of my needs. They also had different activities on offer, and I chose the jungle walk, Jeep Safari and boat trip, and a cultural night with the Tharu people. It was such a once in a lifetime experience! They also took me on different side trips in the area and I got to meet locals and saw how they live. The rooms are decorated so nicely with artwork from local artists. The food was all organic and very good, and even though I have a lot of food restrictions (vegan, glutenfree), they always created little varieties for me. With part of the benefits, the nature retreat supports the school next door, and the locals in the area, which is auch a nice bonus. You can really feel how everyone involved pours their heart into this and that's what makes the difference. I left Green Chwadi so relaxed and centered, and wish I could've stayed longer! :-)
