This is by far one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The building and the rooms are absolutely stunning , decorated in the traditional Newari style and extremely comfortable. The hotel is family owned and we got such a warm welcome from the owner and his sons, who took the time to share the history of the building and a tour of the museum within the building. The owner has sourced old antique pieces and wood carved windows to rebuild the hotel in the spirit of ancien Newari architecture, giving it an amazing twist and charm that can’t be found in any other hotel, while Being really modern and comfortable. This is more than just your regular hotel but a beautiful family project, HIGHLY recommend!!! Thanks again for making our stay such a highlight of our trip to Nepal!

Our stay at Square was perfect! The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the rooms and facilities were new and everything felt quite clean (and this is coming from someone who is a germophobe). I would definitely stay there again.
