Featuring a beautiful garden setting, the Settlers Cottage Motel is a 5-minute walk from the historic town center of Arrowtown and a 20-minute drive from Queenstown. It was a wonderful modern/comfortable version of what a settlers period experience would be.
Arrowtown Lodge offers luxury accommodations in charming cottages, a short 2-minute walk from Arrowtown's shops, bars, and restaurants. Everything!! Location, staff, facilities all excellent. Great place to stay. Town has loads of history and is set close to the Arrow river where you can walk or pan for gold if you feel lucky.
These luxury apartments in a spectacular alpine setting feature panoramic views, fully equipped designer kitchens, luxurious furnishings and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. The place was awesome! Sooo warm, clean and inviting. Views of the remarkables mountains were spectacular, Kitchen and living room was perfect for families. High point was the heated pool we had access to. Will definitely stay again.
Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Creagh Cottage is a 2-bedroom holiday home set in the mountains above Arrowtown. It is just 6.8 mi from Coronet Peak. Guests receive free private parking on site. It’s not your run-of-the-mill-cookie-cutter hotel. It’s got character. It was cosy and had everything we needed. The hosts were super friendly and even provided us with some wine from their own vineyard. I would definitely stay here again.

An awesome town with everything you need. Really loved the 4 square there. Can't wait to return again. You must go to The New Orleans Hotel for a meal I had the Kiwi Roast Meal which I highly recommend. 👍💯💯
Interesting history, along with a well set out museum and re-created Chinese gold mining huts. Many heritage buildings, beautiful river and walks, great cycling, views, shopping, restaurants, etc etc. Not far from Queenstown, Arrowtown would be my first choice of the two to stay in.
lovely wee town in a beautiful area but its just to expensive for the average kiwi . The main streel wilst lovely is only geared to tourists with no normal shops at all . The chop shop for brekkie is worth a visit as well as the fork n tap for a beersie
Beautiful part of New Zealand. Would of loved to stay longer and maybe hired a bike or walked more of the trails. Great free all day parking while you explore Arrowtown. We had a fantastic lunch at The Chop Shop and one of the best cheese scones at The Gibbston Valley Cheesery.
Picturesque, tranquil, relaxing... Just out of Queenstown but still close enough Beautiful loop track by the river,.. Make sure you have a good walk through the Main Street as some little gems. Remarkable sweets is amazing, see if you can find the little blue door, definately worth popping in for a drink. Had a great steak and a feww drinks at New Orleans,.. Great service Would also highly recommend Onsens Hot Pools... Massage is the best I have ever had!!!!
Arrowtown was beautiful, friendly, happy people everywhere. It was fully booked accomodation the whole time and you can see why, gorgeous! We will be going again, no complaints. Lots to see, lots of different scenic walks and drives. 10 mins drive to Queenstown, which was also busy, glad we were in Arrowtown. We also travelled to Glenorchy. The drive was so beautiful, we stopped off along the lakeside to take photos which I had not known was going to be so wonderful. I would recommend this whole trip, if you live in NZ and haven't seen our Southern Lakes, gotta do it!
The Shades has the best location in Arrowtown. It is just a few minutes walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, bakery and movie theatre. Situated diagonally opposite the old heritage miners cottages in the central Avenue, the units are set in the most picturesque surroundings. They are spotlessly clean, well appointed, very comfortable and overseen by the delightful and very helpful Brenda!
This is a quirky and original place to stay, very clean and comfortable with more space than a typical motel. The owner is super friendly and passionate about providing a fantastic service and accommodation. We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again on a Queenstown and Arrowtown holiday.
Honestly could not fault this place - the absolute best views and only a very short drive to stunning Arrowtown. The cottage was very warm with the fireplace and it was just beautiful inside and out. Without a doubt exceeded all expectations and we will be back for sure
The location of the condos provides a good base for activities throughout the Queenstown area -- access to everything is good but the condos are quiet. You can even walk to restaurants in Arrowtown to eat at great restaurants without the need for a designated driver.
The view from our room was breath-taking. The rooms were so spacious. The location was perfect for exploring Arrowtown and the Queenstown region. The spa treatment (massage) was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
Room (king apartment) was spacious. Clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Views of the garden and hills. Spa (shared) was a lovely bonus. Within very easy driving distance to Arrowtown.
Very quiet neighborhood and a 3 minute walk into Arrowtown. The garden’s were beautiful. Our room was spacious and very nice. Breakfast was excellent and our host was very gracious.
The cottage was exceptional, clean, very well appointed, close to Arrowtown, walking distance to all the paces you need to go
