The accommodation in the front of the house, is small but immaculate, with fresh bright decor, a large bathroom and breakfast served by the hosts in the dining room which is a reminder of charming English B&Bs. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. Not much to do in Cambridge, but nearby Hamilton has a great botanic garden. We did waitomo glow worm caves, papamoa beach, and hobbiton while we stayed here. They were all within an hour drive. Great little breakfast place with mince pies and hot breakfast (eggs, side cut bacon...more meat less fat, toast, beans, grilled tomato) called cafe 9. They have Altitude coffee as well that you have to try while in NZ. It's depth and complexity of flavor is very different from US coffee.
Cambridge is a great spot to stay when you have visited Waitomo. It has lots of excellent cafes, many good restaurants and some interesting shops. The scenery is magic just out of town and I would suggest biking or walking alongside the river.
The Waikato river trails are fantastic - get out on your bike! Lots to do if you are into the outdoors. Lots of good eating and coffee places. Allow a few days to explore the area - we would like to go back and do more trail rides, Sanctuary Mountain, Glow worms and catch some harness racing one night.
Enthusiastic and thoughtful hosts. Beautiful place and clean rooms. Big breakfast and comfortable beds. Fast wifi and satisfactory shower water. The host, Linda, even prepared the first aid box, so sweet. We borrowed the hosts' cooking stove in their house. So hospitable are they.
Many years ago, when living in New Zealand, Cambridge was always a favourite spot to travel through. This time we stopped over and we're very pleased we did. A lovely place and we found some great food with equally great service right in town. Our accommodation was excellent at Penmarric House with a fabulous breakfast. Well worth re-visiting in the future.
Attended funeral of close relative at St Andrews Church. Beautiful church, lovely venue and plenty of parking provided. Family dinner enjoyed at the Prince Albert Hotel. Cambridge is clean, friendly, and peaceful with plenty to offer the visitors to the township.

It’s the perfect holiday rental . Spacious for a family of 6 and could house more I suspect. It is homely and clean, set in beautiful country side with everything you could need. 5 mins from lovely Cambridge, easy driving distance from Hamilton, Hobbiton Movie Tours and Waitomo. The owners are just lovely too, warm and welcoming. If you have time in your itinerary you should stay a few days in the area, there is so much to do.

The studio was spotlessly clean. Lots of space to move around. Well equipped kitchenette. Big bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Lovely host who dealt well with our last minute booking. We had our dog with us and she has a fenced off area with a kennel right outside the room. Beautiful rural spot just outside of Cambridge with sheep and gorgeous Maltese dogs.

This is one of my favorite properties I’ve stayed at on my world travels! Location, New, & Clean! Fantastic layout, spacious bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. Next door is a great cafe, Sloth. We stayed in Room 6 (1 bedroom plus sofa bed). We loved the town of Cambridge, and our room and experience made it the best!! We ate at Onyx. Visit Over the Moon cheese store.

Really liked the community kitchen/dining area, where we prepared and ate our meals. This property seemed to fit the sweet spot between comforts of a hotel room and budget of a hostel. Good location near center of city.

The Windows throughout the house let in a lot of sunshine. And the views around the property were amazing. My boys loved having the animals around (from bunnies to a cow!) The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating taking us to town when we got a flat tire so we could purchase dinner. They went over and above in making us feel welcome.

We stayed in one of the motel units which are fairly basic and don’t have the character of the main house, but it was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice big main bedroom with ranch slider to the patio. No complaints at all - we would stay here again. The rose gardens on the property are lovely!
