Beautifully prepared and decorated spacious room in a quiet garden location only a short drive from town. Very welcoming, helpful and considerate host. The room had a comfortable bed and a sofa. I have stayed here in the past . I have learned as to how the effort and care put into the restoration of this little piece of history has given a new lease of life both to the Vickerage and added another reason to come and stay a while in Geraldine. A truly epic experience. I am humbled.

This property is well located just a few minutes walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants. It is a lovely quiet private location and the hosts Sue and John made us feel most welcome. There is easy parking and a flat entrance path. The bed was comfortable and there was a good shower. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast as we departed. We had a lovely continental breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. The hosts joined us and we shared a lovely half hour of conversation. We would definitely stay again when we are in Geraldine.

Newly Built in 2017 Black on Grey offers standalone accommodation units, located in a semi rural area, on the main road into Geraldine from Timaru.
