This must be the stupidest review that I have ever been asked to complete. The Question was, Would I recommend Christchurch. Well, if you want to go, then go, if you don't want to then don't. Ignore the rating as I couldn't submit the stupid review without a comment.

The Quake City Exhibition helps to understand how beautiful Christchurch must have been and the devastation caused by the earthquakes. It is still a beautiful city with a good restaurant scene and lots of life. A serene walk in the Botanic Gardens should not be missed.

Loved how easy it was to get around.
Loved how easy it was to get around. We used the bus to go everywhere - except to the airport. We only had 48hrs there but I would have loved to have explored the wider Canterbury area.
Definitely do the Gondola on a beautiful day. Well worth it. Bus stops right outside.
Enjoyed walking around the city.

of work that has been done since the last time there, and the tram driver new his stuff on Christchurch. Found it a bit hard getting around what with one way streets and a lot of road works
We were picked up only 5 min after a call to the Sudima. Van driver was friendly and helpful, considering it was after midnight , we were impressed. Check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we were well rested and ready to start our holiday, we were even offered a lift back to the airport to collect our hire car. Driver Ken gave us lots of advice for our trip. This hotel so close to the airport and way cheaper than any other accomodation I looked up, we were beyond impressed.
Great stay at Urbanz last night. I was finishing a contiki tour in Christchurch so booked a double room. I was really happy with the spacious room, bathrooms were just outside and showers. Was really quiet in the room considering I was in room 117 beside the door to the kitchen and hallway. Showers were powerful and warm, bathroom facilities good. Cheaper than a hotel but 4 star hotel standards! Would definitely stay again.
The hosts were really nice. They live in a lovely property and the accommodation was very good, clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet area. Breakfast was also very good with cereals, toast, orange juice, fruit, etc. It is also a short walk to the Riccarton Sunday market, which was worth a visit. Overall a great place to stay especially if arriving or departing from Christchurch airport which is just up the road.
Great high-end hotel at Christchurch airport; barely a minute's walk to the terminal. Hotel seems brand new as everything is so clean. Rooms really spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Loved the restaurant and bar on the top floor too.
Great hotel for a two night work trip in Christchurch. Relatively easy to find and close to the supermarket, airport. My room had everything I needed including a small kitchen, living area and comfortable bed.
