NetherlandsSuch a nice, modern and clean room. Really, one of the best rooms I have stayed in during my NZ travels.
The room is well designed. When you enter there's a row of tiles in case you have dirty or wet shoes. Then there's very soft and comfy carpet. Bed was nice and the shower has a roof on it. Great way to prevent mold in the bathroom and keeping the heat and water inside the shower cabin.

I was in Gore for the Tussock Country Festival and the Gold...
I was in Gore for the Tussock Country Festival and the Gold Guitars. I had a great time, the various events were very enjoyable and the people very friendly. Plenty of choice for dining out and shopping, plus the Eastern Southland Gallery is a "must-see".

Very clean, well kept town with no graffiti (that we saw) Beautiful library and thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and the historic village. Ate at Howl at the Moon and at a beautiful cafe both excellent food,.

Love Gore for its beautiful city centre.
Love Gore for its beautiful city centre. City council has done a great job. The city is tidy and you can see flowers on the main streets. Fantastic! Lots of churches which are amazing. May the Lord bless the whole city and it's residents!

Gore is a nice country town surrounded by lovely green...
Gore is a nice country town surrounded by lovely green countryside and is well served with amenities. There is a great art gallery which has an impressive collection of Ralph Hotere works amongst others and a museum that tells the story of illicit whiskey distilling in the area. Several places to eat and get a good coffee like The Stables Cafe. If you are a fisher there is the Mataura river which runs through the town. Go North and its a nice drive to Queenstown and south gets you to Invercargill.

lovely countryside and the cafe and restaurant definitely worth visiting again. Shops were varied and I spent far too much money, the hospice shop was a great place to spend half an hour or more browsing. If you were self catering the main shops were there for you. Pleasant place to walk around as well.

Gore is the heart of the Southern area and in true Southern style their hospitality is second to none. People are friendly and the area has a quiet feel but is still modern and facilities are great. The Town and Country club is a great social place with very friendly bar staff and locals..

Excellent central location. Super easy check in. Never stayed in a motel as spotlessly clean, both inside and outside. Notably new and well appointed furnishings, they really had thought of everything. Really impressed and excellent value for money. This was really the highlight of our brief visit to Gore. Highly recommend this motel. Would stay again without hesitation.

Absolutely loved the character of the home! The hosts Belinda and Verne were lovely and the location is perfect for a nice stop over near gore. Breakfast was stellar, beautifully set up and felt like a scene out of bridgerton! Would absolutely recommend this house for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

I was made to feel welcome and was able to relax throughout my stay. The breakfast was amazing and the morning views would have been spectacular if the bed wasn't so comfortable. It was located half way between Gore town and Dolamore Park where I spent most of my stay.

This is a tidy, convenient motel in central gore that allowed me to stay near my work location for the next day. Because my partner was not working he was able to come along for the trip and we had a really nice stay.
