They gave a free Yellow Bus service that can conveniently get you to the airport. Also, you've got to try the restaurant's fish and chips! Bigger pieces of fish than I expected!

Offering free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking, Best Western BKs Pioneer Motor Lodge is a 7-minute drive from Auckland Airport. After I phoned for pickup, the shuttle bus arrived promptly. Check-in was courteous and prompt, and I got a nice quiet room. I ordered continental breakfast (cooked also available) which was delivered to the unit on a try, with a smile. Shuttle to the airport was easily arranged. There are a few eateries nearby, some of which deliver. There is also a guest laundry, and small packets of laundry detergent can be purchased at reception
