Wai-knot Accommodations offers both boutique caravans or private bedrooms in the main building. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. The caravans have their own outdoor area and refrigerator. The caravan was very cosy and cute - I appreciated the super-quiet setting surrounded by trees and birdsong. The lounge and kitchen is a lovely place to hang out, and I also really liked the handmade shower products.
Onetangi Beach Apartments is located on Waiheke Island, on the beautiful white sands of Onetangi Beach. It is a 35-minute ferry ride from Auckland CBD. Hannah and her staff were amazing. The apartment was always very clean and comfortable. Everyone was very helpful. We had an amazing holiday thanks to everyone at Onetangi beach apartments
The Jazz Loft is set in Onetangi, 1.2 mi from EcoZip Adventures. Your own private balcony offers exceptional sea views over Pie Melon Bay to Coromandel Peninsular and Little and Great Barrier Islands.... Nice, clean, tidy facilities. Amazing views and close to amenities. Lovely hosts 🙂
Located in Onetangi, 0.9 mi from EcoZip Adventures and 1.2 mi from Stonyridge Vineyard, Onetangi Beach Retreat offers air conditioning. The accommodations features free WiFi throughout the property. We found the property very well equipped and organised. It was convenient having the cleaning included.
Located 18 minutes' walk from the center of Onetangi, this air-conditioned holiday home features a barbecue. Beautiful location and scenery. Comfortable house and beds. Enjoyed watching the world go by sitting on the balcony, nature and peace and tranquility.
The Villas on Waiheke contain five exclusive one and two bedroom private villas, featuring free WiFi and air conditioning, in Onetangi. Each villa offers spectacular sea and native bush views. If your looking for piece and quiet you’ll find it here. We were looking for just this and it didn’t disappoint
Located on Waiheke Island, The Nikau Loft is located high above Onetangi beach and overlooks a native forest and bird reserve. It is 8.7 mi from Matiatia Bay and 19 mi from Auckland. Amazing amazing views, friendly hosts, large spacious loft with good facilities. Great base to explore the island and come home to enjoy the views. Car hire is a must due to the isolated location at the far end of the island but that is the best way to see the island anyway, so not a big issue.
Located in Onetangi, 2.9 miles from Wild on Waiheke and 3 miles from EcoZip Adventures, Nikau Apartments Waiheke Island provides accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a grill and garden... the decor was outstanding, the landscaping was beyond belief, the location was peaceful and easy to reach all the things we wanted to do...Susan and Gus were wonderful hosts. It was the perfect ending to our New Zealand stay. Couldn't have ask for more. The blinds were neat..you could see out...the night time stars, ocean...but could not see in!
The Islandar is a holiday home located in Onetangi, overlooking the Waiheke Forest. EcoZip Adventures is just 0.6 mi from the property. Free private parking is provided. The property has wow factor and I think the pictures don’t do it full justice, there is a family vibe in the house that we could all feel and felt welcome as we walked in. The large loving space was lovely and the downstairs apartment was excellent for the little family within th larger family we travelled with. We all particularly loved all having bathrooms per room, made getting ready so easy! Loved the deck and view and the garden was awesome for the kids, enclosed and safe. Overall one of the best places we have stayed for many years.
Absolutely beautiful beach, roads very easy to drive and the locals very friendly. Ate at Charlie Farley's restaurant and were forgotten about several times, (which the staff admitted) and had to get the attention of the staff in order to get our order taken. Food was pretty good, but the lack of service tainted things. Also ate at Wild on Waiheke, excellent service - prompt, professional and delicious food. Would very happily return.
I previously left a review and was horrified it was only a 8.3 Also I mentioned The hosts were great “but” we were left alone instead of reading “and” we were left alone! Which was fantastic. The place is spectacular!!!
Onetangi is a great small beach-side town, close to lots of vineyards where you can participate in wine tastings. There are lots of great walks that you can do, including walking towards Oneroa. There are a couple of restaurants on the beach road, one of which (called Charlie Farley's), we tried and liked. It's pretty easy to get to Onetangi from the ferry terminal by bus. From the bus stop you can walk around pretty easily, although depending on where you're going it can be quite hilly.
The sound of the waves was the best part. Sadly there were grey and wet days, but otherwise we were definitely ready for a holiday. It was frustrating though that the Resturante, the Boat house could not get their act together and orders took well over an hour, so choice of places to eat were only two!
Getting to Onetangi is easy - we had a car but our son and his girlfriend caught the bus from the ferry terminal which was a simple exercise. We love Onetangi for its long white sandy beach and its unspoilt peaceful setting. The waterfront cafes are great for brunch before heading off to one of the many wineries nearby. A car is certainly recommended for ease of access to the rest of the island.
Best thing about Onetangi is the beach!! Unfortunately the weather was not great, but we had a great look around the island!! Cable bay for dinner, outstanding!! Man of War definately worth the trip and then finished off with a platter at Mud Brick which was great value for money!!! Because it was so cold we did not do the Eco zip line, so will do that another time!! Also time of year clay shooting was all booked up, but great time on the island all the same. Would recommend taking your car if you want to go exploring and enjoyed our stay apart from the accomadation !

My stay was peaceful and restorative - just what I needed! Listening to the birds and sitting outside enjoying a cup of tea while reading a book was the perfect way to wrap up my holiday. The staff was always kind and helpful. I stayed in one of the caravans. The rooms/caravans and the shared facilities (bathroom and showers) were impeccably clean. I really loved Wai-Knot and highly recommend it!!

Loved the unusual style of the property, big comfortable couch, retrieving the key without having to meet the owner onsite was great, shower was good, lots of room particularly in living area - we were able to have some friends over who were staying in much smaller hotel, various tv/dvd options - was handy when we had a rainy afternoon

Absolutely beautiful property, we had a fabulous time and would have loved to stay longer. Well designed, airy, funky design. All the amenities required are provided. Lovely decking looking out over the beach. We loved following the little path all the way down to the beach. Great location in Onetangi. We’ll be back again!!!

The Loft is your very own slice of heaven up on the hill looking across Onetangi Bay! The outdoor bath tub was magical and the fresh berries, yoghurt, eggs and bacon waiting for you each morning in the fridge was the cherry on top! Would definitely come back again and recommend to all!!

Very large room with a view of the beach and ocean. The bed was very comfortable. Assigned parking and elevator access made it easy to come and go. The beach is just across the street and good food options within walking distance. Washer/dryer worked well.

Great facilities, well thought out Villas with everything you need. Privacy plus a little remote but very easy drive to Onetangi, Oneroa and a huge number of vineyards. Can walk to Peacock Sky and The Batch. Great little gym and lovely big pool.

The place was just like the pictures, spacious, comfortable and it had a gorgeous view through the Bush to Onetangi. We would love to come back and utilise the grass area and balcony a bit more when the weather improves.
