This is a wonderful, historic building in the heart off the Victoria. Section of Oamaru. While the room was small, we had the run of the upstairs lounge for most of our stay. Sahil and his staff were friendly and helpful. They provided a brand new microwave for us to use. There is a shared kitchen where I we prepared meals. The hotel’s roast beef Sunday dinner is highly recommended. We even saw penguins out of the bathroom window!

It’s clean and comfortable. Has all the facilities. Parking is easy. The house is lovely and cozy too. Also close to all the sightseeing places. Walking distance to steam HQ etc. host is also very helpful and fast response! Highly recommended

A very welcoming, clean and comfortable place to stay! Dawn was so helpful and responsive. We were only a short 5 minute drive from the penguin colony and Dawn kindly offered us blankets to wrap in for the cold evening adventure - thank you! We enjoyed the lovely breakfast too!

I loved the rural location, the peace & quiet of the beautiful countryside; the farm animals & Jenny was very friendly & helpful. I'd love to return for a longer stay to explore Oamaru further.

Wonderful location, beautifully styled, felt very homey, thanks for being generous with towels, cutlery, laundry detergent and providing a properly sized bin for for a family. Check in and out was seamless. Felt sad to leave this beautiful sunny home.
