Great value for money, with a location not too far from the township with a cracking view. The place had everything you needed to make a weekend of it and return to after a day of exploring.

The property was in beautiful condition and it was a lovely place to stay. Tastefully furnished and it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Our children absolutely adored the lambs and chickens too. If we returned to Raglan, we would definitely stay there again.

What guests said about Raglan:

A cute village with a hippy feel.

A cute village with a hippy feel. Lots of galleries to view art and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed a yummy woodfired oven pizza with great customer service at George's Beach Club. It's a short 10 min drive to surf beach, Ngarunui Beach. Lots of stairs down to the beach. The harbour is picturesque to enjoy a less busy space if you want that.

It's a beautiful little town with great cafes and restaurant, excellent walks and also stunning beaches to visit nearby. We would also recommend the Bridal Veil Falls, a short drive out of town but spectacular, particularly on a rainy day!

Beautiful area with bush, water and sunset views.

Beautiful area with bush, water and sunset views. Point breaks for surfers, safe harbour waters for swimming and family fun on water toys. Lots of bush walks nearby including around Bridal Veil Falls. Ragland township has a buzzy vibe with lots of arts and crafts, homeware, gifts, surfing gear and clothing for sale. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes all within a short walk of each other. Over a walking bridge across the harbour from the town there is a camping ground and also a park area with skatepark and children’s playground. Lots for all the family to see and do.

The sunset cruise in the harbour is so worth it.

The sunset cruise in the harbour is so worth it. We loved eating at Orca and had the best espresso martini at George's Beach Club. Cafes and the overall vibe of this small town is charming. Would definitely go back and this time would stay closer to town to be able to enjoy more of the coffee culture and all the lovely eateries this place has to offer. Great for people with kids, massive playground, good wide beach, boat trip - all that was fun to do on a family trip.

Raglan township is quaintly unique.

Raglan township is quaintly unique. The historical buildings, such as the Harbour View Hotel, and beachy type housing and shops, blend with a slightly bohemian flavour reflecting the seventies culture. A great place to chill out,and stroll about in. Raglan Roast has fabulous coffee and the adjourning bar is great for an afternoon ale or 2, had nice live music when we were there. Unfortunately we were there for only 1 day, so not enough time to explore the area more widely.

We booked the Kayak tour which was very cool to see the pancake rocks up close. We also walked the beach at sunset which made for an amazing photo op. We loved walking downtown as they is so much to the little surf town.

Absolutely loved our stay here, the cabin was perfect for us, comfortable bed, super clean, stunning outlook over the mountains and sea and easily accessible from Raglan with great walks and waterfalls nearby. The cabin is laid out really well with a small kitchen that we cooked in every night. Owners even provided us with eggs, milk, raw honey and small home made jam and chutney in the fridge when we arrived, these small things go a long way to make our stay even better, thank you :)

The location was excellent and quiet. The room was small but comfortable. We liked the plunger coffee supplied and the café next door was convenient. I was very neat and and clean, the shower lovely and hot and the towels fluffy and white. We would stay again if coming for a short stay in Raglan. Being able to park right outside the unit and off the road was an added attraction.

Very clean, modern and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful area of Raglan. Great shower. The fan in the bedroom was also a plus to have to use. Milk/chocolate provided was appreciated. Clear communication from host Sarah. Would book this place again.

Cute, quirky cottage, presented well with great amenities. Beds were very comfortable. Place was clean and tidy. Multiple locations to sit outside and enjoy the bush surroundings. Handy location to Raglan wharf. Town centre was a little further away.
