IsraelEverything was great! The place is gorgeous, the farm is really beautiful, the room had everything, even freshly baked cookies and home made jams as part of the included breakfast!
They even had a little cute lamb on the farm that really wanted to play with us, it was adorable!

AustraliaThis place is a little gem. It's located in a suburban street but is well back from the street. It has enormous charm and the place has been tastefully decorated and is comfortable and warm. The beds are perfect and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a washing machine. You can accommodate 6 people but 2 will be upstairs in a loft type bedroom. You can park inside the yard and walk directly up the front steps to the door. There is a front porch where we had a drink and nibbles and imagined being the occupants back in the 40's. Charming and a perfect place to stay.

We loved that the Loft was warm and cozy and had all the comforts we needed while away from home. We were touched by the home made brownie snack left in the kitchen for us. We felt very welcomed on the farm and enjoyed our short stay very much.

It is a quiet but well provided small town with big shops...
It is a quiet but well provided small town with big shops like New World, Warehouse and several petrol stations. It is veryso close to Waitomo caves that makes travelling to and fro these scenic spots very convenient.

One of the motels that are ubiquitous in New Zealand. Perfect, functional accommodation for one night or two. Clean, perfunctory, and ok. Does it merit the price that is asked? That is a question of supply vs demand .....

The Food & restaurants were fantastic.
The Food & restaurants were fantastic.
Te Kuiti was very central to many of the sightseeing activities like the world famous Waitomo Caves & Pio Pio, where many scenes for the 'academy award winning movie ' by Peter Jackson, "Lord of the Rings' were filmed. Only a stone throw away from Matamata, where the 'Hobbiton movies' were made!

This is a farming commercial area close to the Waitomo Caves...
This is a farming commercial area close to the Waitomo Caves and cave worms tour. The town is basically two main roads with a few restaurants, stores, supermarket and other services. There is a train stop. We did not use the train for travel. It is only 15 minutes to Waitomo Caves and a good place to start exploring the cliffs along the Pacific Ocean further south.

A few memorabilia statues to get pix with.
The information centre is very helpful & informative with souvenir Nic Nacs to purchase as well.

The Waitomo Caves is a must-see, and there are other...
The Waitomo Caves is a must-see, and there are other attractions close by. We grabbed lunch at the Waitomo General Store which is more than just a store.The Cafe and menu selection is amazing and very reasonably priced.
Cassandra and her team are a friendly bunch and super efficient.

Great location for the Waitomo Caves. Basic room but very spacious and comfortable. Easy drive into town and the restaurant recommended by the hotel was lovely! Highly recommend if you're visiting the caves!
