Nice, clean modern Hotel in an extraordinary beautiful remote place in the mountains, Wonderful few over the village and impressing mountainous landscape Getting there by car on the mountain road is an adventure alone and recommended only for experienced "fearless" drivers with 4WD vehicle. Great staff which is extraordinary friendly and helpfull, enjoyed the talk in the afternoon with Nabin and Ali very much. Good for guests who also like quietness close to nature and peace in mind, which the place Balad Syat offers. We really enjoyed the stay.

The location has a spectacular view. After a stressful driving experience up the mountain, this hotel is literally life-saving. I was the only one staying that night, with maximum peace of mind. The receptionist is very helpful and polite.

- Friendly staff - Good sized room and a HUGE bed! The owner said that they made the bed frame themselves, with wood from the area. - Clean and functional shower, with enough hot water for 2 pax (it gets cold in the evening so this is important!) - Delicious food! We didn't expect this, but the buffet was really good, both for dinner and for breakfast. - It's the last (one could say the only) house in this section of the wadi, which means that you can start walking from the guesthouse and within 5 minutes, find yourself in an incredibly peaceful environment, surrounded by the steep mountainsides of the wadi. That was a big plus!
