Modern hotel with rooms facing the old town and mountains beyond, which make for a beautiful view from the rooms' balconies. Good mattress. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice coffee shop with good offering and equally nice view from its terrace. Old town is within walking distance (approx. 10 min of a steepish walk down).

Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains.

Gorgeous architecture of the hotel, everything is very stylish and eco friendly. Located in a very isolated place, great territory with nice walks and hiking roots. Main restaurant is awesome: food is delicious and the menu is very diverse, great selection. Great spa with professional therapists from Indonesia.

Location, location, location. Small hotel nestled against the side of a mountain with a wonderful view of the East flank of Jebel Shams, which towers some 2.000 meter over the valley. We stayed in the one hotel room that is cut into the mountain, which is kind of cute, but ultimately does not offer any advantages over the more traditional rooms that have a better view. Lovely pool that is just about big enough to get in a few strokes, and provides a welcome reprieve from the heat in summer time. Many kudos to Rossan, who singlehandedly ran the place and effectively as well as pleasantly fulfilled his role as receptionist, guard, gardener, pool boy and master chef (and probably a few more roles we missed out on). He made our two day stay even more enjoyable.

Set in Bīmah, bait bimah travel lodge features accommodation with seating area. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking.

The view of the mountains was the highlight. Plenty of goats around (some may not like it). The rooms were comfortably spacious and clean. Very rustic vibe. There was only one staff - Nithish - and he made us feel welcome.
