Sif’s property is perfectly located for the Wakan hike and is an excellent alternative to the main Jabal Akhdar area. It is less touristic, more authentic, and ideal if you are looking for a real local experience. The food is absolutely amazing. Homemade by his wife, it is healthy, local, and incredibly delicious. Portions are extremely generous, you will never be able to finish everything. The quality and quantity are outstanding. I truly felt like a family member rather than a guest. Sif assists you with everything and makes you feel at home from the first moment. The atmosphere is warm, genuine, and very welcoming. The house is comfortable and perfectly situated and with an amazing view on mountains. Considering the quality of the food, the generosity, and the house itself, the price is more than fair. I felt at home and will definitely come back. A clear 10 out of 10 from A to Z.

We had a lovely stay at the Sama Hotel. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Probably the best views in the area and the hotel has its own private observation deck. The rooms were spacious and clean and a good buffet breakfast was offered.

I stayed for babymoon in early January with my wife and everything was perfect. Quiet place with perfect weather & best view for sunset and sunrise. Room is not really big but the size is perfect, cleanliness is good, very cozy and warm. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast as well, staffs were very accommodating. Will definitely come back.
