An enchanting Arabic jewel, Muscat was already an important port in the 1st century. With a strict building code that imposes respect to heights and styles, the city has developed a harmonized and traditional look that makes it irresistible. Don’t miss the traditional Muttrah Souq marketplace, considered one of the best in the region.
The city is actually composed of three towns: Muscat is the walled Old Town where royal palaces are located; Muttrah includes the old and new harbours and the Corniche seafront; and Ruwi is the commercial and diplomatic area. Check out the Muscat hotels map on Booking.com and choose your preferred location!
The city is surrounded by the Western Al Hajar Mountains, and the crystalline waters and sandy beaches of the Arabian Sea. Staying in a Muscat hotel on the beach is a great way to enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Oman views.
The modern and elegant Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is one of the largest in the world. Don’t miss the twin forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani, and the Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace.

Muscat delivers a great experience.
Muscat delivers a great experience. It is both modern and steeped in history. Fantastic sights, pretty gardens, architecture. Sprawling but this means a big variety of places to wander, see and explore. We loved the coast line and souk, with its walk.

The city of Muscat is clean and roads connectivity is good and well maintained. Spend half day at the old city, Grand mosque, opera house and fort the first day. Second day sink hole and wadi shams and day three wit sea activities like dolphin siting and snorkeling. you must try local food and also sea food in Muscat. Lots of new malls like Oman mall or Avenue mall and kids activities at the mall

The city itself is very drawn out, needing a car to reach the old town and the souk, which was a very interesting area to visit.
The road network is excellent, though without satnav it is easy to get in the wrong lane. The locals drive very fast for a city, and can be impatient if you drive slowly ( ie below the speed limit) We were very impressed with the facilities for children, particularly in the large park area.
Our only disappointment was that the wildlife reserve was closed to visitors, though perhaps there would have been too many.
Eating in the top hotels can be expensive, but there were many restaurants within walking distance which were excellent value.
We went in late October, and the daytime temperature was just over 30 degrees. Summerr would be too hot.

This is a great hotel, at an excellent location. The rooms are clean and functional, great pool area with a good bar service. Breakfast was delicious with lots of types of food. The hotel has a beautiful bay which serves as the beach area, where you can leisurely swim in the sea.
Staff were friendly and allowed late checkout without extra cost (as my flight was late in the evening).
The hotel also offers day trips to various Omani tourist attractions (through a partner agency).
The reception and dinning staff was extremely exceptional. Hotel is located in a nice area, near airport and other touristic monuments. Rooms were cleaned every day, and the bedroom provided everything that we needed. Also the hotel has a pool and gym which is great addition! I would recommend to book this hotel since the price compared to the service is more than great.
This hotel is excellent option if you travel with a family, alone or for business purposes. It has everything you need for comfortable stay. It is located near the airport and perfect for the start or the end of the journey around Oman.
Excellent buffet dinner!
Mohamed and other stuff were amazing and helpful anytime we needed them. Thank you for everything!
The location eis amazing! Best place to stay in a Wadi!! The hotel is new and very nice, small bathroom as most of this kind of small hotel in Oman. The dinner was great too and the breakfast was ok.
Beautiful experience and i will go back in a future for more than one night
