ROYAL BORA BORA features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and garden in Bora Bora. Each accommodations at the 3-star hotel has a garden view, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace. We loved the beach which was great, you could see a lot of fish even from the rack. The staff was very friendly and helped us with any questions including organizing day trips. We also had a lovely evening with the traditional dancers and ukulele players.
Set alongside Matira Beach, Village Temanuata offers traditional Polynesian-style bungalows offering direct beach access. Guests can relax on the sun loungers or indulge in a massage. I admired the hospitality and all around! Simply everything perfect, they clean the room everyday better then 5 star hotels!
Located in Bora Bora, BORA BORA HOLIDAY'S LODGE features water sports facilities, terrace and free WiFi. The property offers bike rental and features a garden and outdoor pool. The site is located high in the mountain and very comfortable. Ceiling fan, air conditioner, kitchenette with lots of space for two people. Maheita and Maire are very helpful and supportive when it’s time for planning our activities. Great Ladies always available to help. We did a tour with Narii which was suppose to be a tour with multiple people. Due to the current restriction we end-up as a private tour with Narii a great gentleman that tell you about history of Bora Bora.
Guests at this luxury resort can choose between garden suites with private pool, beachfront suites with a private hot tub, or overwater bungalows with direct access to the turquoise waters below. Overwater bungalow with view of coral fish through the floor. Staff were exceptional. Snorkeling, swim up bar.
Offering an outdoor pool, Oa Oa Lodge is a waterfront property set in Bora Bora. Vaitape is 0.6 mi away. We stayed in the overwater bungalow room, it was fantastic & great value for monday. You could see the fish and rays in the lagoon swimming underneath. Everything felt very covid secure & we had no worries while we were there. Staff were all super helpful. Its just a short walk into the town as well
Featuring a private white sand beach which is exclusive to guests, this luxury resort offers beachfront accommodations on Matira Point. Guests can stay in unique bungalows positioned over the water. Loved the over-the-water bungalow. Private dock to go down into the ocean, little window inside to feed the fish from. We stayed in several hotels during our stay and this was my favorite. Naturally, it's a little expensive, but an overall awesome experience!
Exclusively located in a private cove on Motu To’opua, Conrad Bora Bora Nui enjoys vast blue ocean views and a white sand beach. Our overwater bungalow looked exactly as it did in the pictures - it was huge, modern, spotless and overall, just stunning! Davin was super helpful during check-in and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful property and jumping into the water. Dinner at the French restaurant was tasty and the pina colada at the pool really was the best I've ever had. It was our first time to Bora Bora and we split or time between Conrad and another resort to experience another motu/island views. While the other resort was nice, our preference is definitely the Conrad :)
Le Maitai Polynesia is in the south of Bora Bora on Matira Point Beach. Guests have a choice between rooms with garden or lagoon views, and bungalows with direct beach access or over the water. Our trip was interrupted when we tested positive for Covid. It could have been a nightmare of a vacation but Maitai Bora Bora is the only place I would ever want to quarantine for 10 days. Our over the water bungalow was the perfect place for sole R&R and the hotel staff was very accommodating to our situation .
On Motu Piti Aau and featuring an exclusive private beach, this 5-star resort and day spa offers private villas located over the water. Each has a large shaded terrace with stunning views of Bora... The staff were remarkably friendly and welcoming from the beginning of my stay to the end. They made an effort to learn my name and I got to know some of theirs. I was there for a birthday and many wished me a Happy Birthday. They even left a birthday cake in my room. The setting is incredibly beautiful with great views of the lagoon and Mt. Otemanu. The Thalasso Spa is world-class with its relaxing atmosphere and treatments tailored to individual needs. Many water activities are available for those who want to be active. The restaurants serve delicious food with local accents and the drinks at the bar are unique and memorable. I highly recommend the InterContinental Bora Bora and hope I can visit again.
Bora Bora Bungalove enjoys a beautiful waterfront location, boasting views of the lagoon and Otemanu Mountain. There is a swimming area with a reef and fish at the front of the bungalows. W@onderful!! Annette picked us at the wharf and then really looked after us. Our "dining room" was over the water, loved the room with wonderful sea views and really enjoyed Naike the dog and Bogart the cats company. She helped us organise a car for viewing with my 91 year old Mum and made lots of other suggestions. I will definitely return. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

French Polynesia is simply incredible. Scenic, great snorkeling and the people are very friendly. Expensive although a trip of a lifetime. Only spent one night on the main island of Bora Bora at the Oa Oa Lodge. Other nights at the La Bora Bora resort, a week sailing with TradeWinds and a week on Moorea. Perfect vacation.
This place is beautiful. If you like relaxing, the sun, beaches, swimming, and water wildlife, you'll like this place. Snorkeling is great! This isn't the place to have a full itinerary every day, I think I napped in the middle of the day almost every day while I was here because I could. It's a very relaxed and definitely on "island time." Expect to have some down time and what may be called boring spots. Food service is generally slow, but everyone is very friendly and willing to do what you ask, they will just take their time doing it. You may also get tired of the food choices. It can be limited here.
Bora Bora is the vacation of a dream. The water is in all the colors of the blue-green spectrum. We enjoyed a taxi island tour with a knowledgable guide that also helped us schedule a snorkeling excursion that was spectacular. The Conrad resort was extravagant, but didn't really disappoint - except some food service timing issues.
Bora Bora is one of the most amazing places on Earth. We visit here as often we can, as it is by far our favorite place across the globe so far. You will not regret this place. Make sure you save your pennies, this is not a cheap place to visit. If you stay in over water bungalows, and stay for a week or more, it will cost you some big bucks. We stayed 10 nights and 2 different resorts. This cost us about 15k. You can get cheaper rooms and even rent a house for much cheaper. This is one of the most expensive places to visit, but worth every penny.
If you’re looking for a nightlife or shopping experience, Bora Bora is not for you. If you’re looking for one of the most beautiful spots on the planet with all kinds of sea & land adventures, this is it!
Bora Bora is a beautiful location with pristine beaches and turquoise waters. Many visitors choose to stay in resorts with over water bungalows These are beautiful but my recommendation would be to get out and explore the island - maybe on a bike or a kayak as there is so much more to Bora Bora
This was my favorite location by far. You have to know going in that this is not a hotel or resort but a unique experience you will not have anywhere else. Tea is the owner and very easy to communicate with. She answered all of our questions before we submitted payment via wire from our bank. We used email and WhatsApp to communicate throughout the process and while on the island. Here is a bit of an overview of our stay. You will take the ferry from the airport to the town of Vaitape where you will meet Joel who will walk you over to the local market (Chin Lee) to buy groceries for your stay. Joel will take you in his boat to the island which is about a 15-minute ride. Joel and his wife, Tatiana, live on the island as well and there are about five additional homes on the island, but since you have the whole south end we never felt as there were people around at all. Joel and Tatiana are very friendly and only speak French so I used WhatsApp with Google Translator to communicate with them which worked great. There are three main buildings - two bedrooms which each have a full bathroom (warm enough to shower but not hot water) nice size bed with mosquito netting, a deck, and can be locked if needed, and one open-air kitchen/living room which is amazing. The kitchen is actually well-stocked. There is a four-burner small gas stove which worked for all our needs (there is also an oven but we did not use it), a full-size refrigerator but no freezer. There is power and plugs throughout all three buildings and so you can charge your equipment, there are lights at night. Overall, I would say this was the most relaxing, unique, beautiful, and special place we stayed in our two-week, six island vacation in French Polynesia. As long as you can cook, clean, and take care of yourself, and can live with bugs, be frugal on your power usage and live without A/C I cannot recommend this place higher. Nir came to pick us up, took care of us from start to end, he is infinitely kind and human! He has a special and spectacular place! Nir is an outstanding artist! he combined nature and historical in the same combination. Our room was Art Deco with well-crafted wood, tastefully decorated meticulously! The bathroom is outside and outstanding!! Well done and great job Nir!!! If you like peace, nature, hearing birds singing and cutting yourself off from the world, come here! There are also 2 dogs that welcome and guard you!
Super clean, cute, and central place to stay. Just a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry port and food trucks. Our host was extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions we had. She was also kind enough to drop us off at a beach when she did not have to! A full kitchen is super convenient for making meals. Our room had a large deck to lounge on and enjoy the sunset!
