Bora Bora is rightly considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, it is stunning! I though that it might be a bit touristy and gimmicky, but it was not the case, it felt very authentic when out and about. One thing to be prepared for is that it is quite busy, especially around the the main town area Vaitape, which is unseal in the Islands, but overall a beautiful spot with beautiful people and beautiful culture.NathanNew Zealand - Scored 8.08.0

Highly recommend Bora Bora, especially, the "Bora Bora by Land and Sea: 4WD Safari and Snorkle tour - best thing we did (swim with sting rays, friendly black tipped sharks and beautiful fish of the corals. 4WD took us around the whole island including accessing very steep 4x4 roads to get us to a high vantage point/look out). Download the 'Get Your Guide' for more tours, pricing and availability. Great location. Polynesian people as a whole are very friendly and welcoming. Hope to return one day.

I really enjoyed my vacation in Bora Bora and looking forward to going back. The beaches are beautiful, there are a lot of good restaurants and the locals are very friendly. Matira Beach is absolutely stunning! The crystal clear shallow waters make it perfect for snorkeling and other water activities and the marine 🐠 life is amazing 🤩

In general, Bora Bora has beautiful nature, but I notice that everything is much worse than it was 25 years ago. The opposite is true for the Maldives. It's getting better there every year. Truly beautiful!
Truly beautiful! Words cannot describe the different colours of the water or how it feels when you’re in it. You’ve got to go there to experience it. A boat ride in the lagoons is a must as is snorkelling with the rays and sharks. I would go back in a heartbeat. You don’t have to stay in the big hotels which charge a lot of money, there are plenty of other alternatives. Taxis are not cheap but providing you plan what you’re doing, you won’t have to use them too much. I flew to Bora Bora from Tahiti which only took 50mins. The view of the islands from the plane was fantastic.
