Nina was so extremely kind, very accommodating and keeping me up to date. She responded immediately when I let her know my plane was a bit delayed and again when I arrived to coordinate her husband coming to get me. The accommodation is small but has everything you need! It’s clean and the airconditioning works so you won’t be too hot in the tropics. They came and got me at 8 pm and brought me back to the airport the next morning at 6.30 for my next flight. They also have a very nice pool and terrace which I didn’t have time for to enjoy but it’s very nice.

We would highly recommend staying here. Our host, Thomas was simply brilliant and so hospitable. The apartment is immaculate and beautiful with a fantastic balcony, air conditioning and fully equipped kitchen. The pool is amazing with excellent views and a great gym with machines and free weights. Secure and quiet surroundings. 5 mins from the airport and a short drive to the town centre. Thanks Thomas!

Absolutely outstanding view, very quiet and comfortable. Everything I needed was there. The 4km walk to town was a great way to stretch legs after a long flight. Tetumanaiva couldn’t have been more helpful.

Such a clean, comfortable, and stylish place in the perfect location - a few mins from the airport, grocery store, petrol station. The hosts could not be more welcoming! I was able to share two delicious meals with them and they even helped me pick out some grocery store snacks I'd wanted to bring home. I really recommend this spot, especially if you're looking for a clean and safe place to stay :) Small tip - there's a sunset spot within walking distance too where you can watch the sun go down over Moorea. I hope to stay here again!

I made a late evening reservation due to a last minute...

I made a late evening reservation due to a last minute change in my travel plans after arriving at the Tahiti airport. I needed an overnight stay and was lucky I found such a good accommodation for which the host Wilfred made even better as we discussed visiting nearby Moorea island and the two ferry options to get there (select the white boat 😊). He showed me around the outdoor lounge and kitchen area adjacent to the pool. The area has a great view of the sky and ocean since the LODGE sits atop hills. The personal touches are things one would not receive at a standard hotel. I’d definitely recommend the LODGE to others.

A short taxi ride from downturns and the airport but our hosts made all our bookings and shops and a market were a 10 minute walk down the hill. It can be a little hot walking in Tahiti. Traffic chaotic if you come from a quiet location.

Very hard to locate the actual apartment as there are no signs and the name appears to be wrong. Lucky for us to find a lovely generous occupant who helped us into our studio apartment. Fair walk to the shops due to the property being so high up the hill but the views from our balcony was fabulous. The swimming pool was a very big plus.

When we arrived from the States, we took a taxi to Pepeete...

When we arrived from the States, we took a taxi to Pepeete for proximity to the ferry terminal (we were headed to Moorea next day). Flying back from another island in FP a few weeks later, we stayed in Faaa since we would be flying back to the States the next day. Now we know, we'd stay in Faaa on both ends and taxi to the ferry terminal if we were planning to go to Moorea next.

Perfect overnight before a flight. Picked up at airport. Great room with air-conditioning. Modern bathroom. Kitchen facilities. Great coffee maker. Dropped off promptly for early AM flight. Bonus outdoor space with spectacular view of airport and ocean.

Faaa itself is OK.

Faaa itself is OK. It's the Royal room in the hills tgat was problematic.The room is not really as described. Seems it's run by someone else than the owner, possibly absentee house owner. Many people come and go from the Royal. One group came for a visit and occupied the terrace. They were polite and quiet but smoked, so no joining for us. The house cleaness is questionable and it appears there is more lodgers than the one the who sleep in the loft. Living room dingy with curtains closed and sofa. Underfurnished. The bedding feels cheap and polyester-like. Parking is a total headache on a narrow ledge. Finally someone came to move own car but with another motorcycle in the small place that was hardly useful. Dog poo was there, easy to step in. It's close to airport but there are nicer places to stay than here. Valley location was nice. Otherwise do not recommend this place. As to airport facility, it was easy to park a car at longterm to jump to another island for 2 days.

This accommodation is very close to the airport, surrounded by lush vegewtation. It is convenient for a short stay before a flight but also ideal for longer stays to explore Tahiti island and nearby Moorea. Nina is a wonderful host who helped us take advantage of our short stay and tell us about life in Tahiti, as a local would. The private room is very comfortable, quiet and we slept very well. Nina can arrange to pick you up at the airport, and we really appreciated this option. We loved it here and would come back!

Very frienly hosts, a Tahitian-french couple. They picked us up from the airport. Very kind people. The swimming pool looks like in the picture but unfortunately we had no time to use it. It was a one night inly between flight and was enough for our purpose. It was a separate bedroom and bathroom inside the house.
