Busuanga
Located in Busuanga in the Palawan Region, 43 mi from Coron, La Estancia Busuanga features an outdoor pool and views of the sea. We were looking for a place in the philippines on this island that felt authentic to the island and not too touristy - a place to get away and really enjoy the land and views and this hotel fit this perfectly. The care exhibited by the staff who run the property really comes through from the moment to check in, through meals, and on the boat tours. The property is wonderful - a pool to use at all hours, the bay to swim or kayak in as well as mangrove farms to kayak in (which was so much fun), and a deck on the room with a perfect place for sunrise. As the hotel is isolated (in a good way) and we did not have a car we ate all our meals which included an evening with a delightful dinner buffet that was set up on the dock for dinner under the moon and stars. They also have a lovely elevated spot to enjoy the sunset where you can have a bonfire and bbq on long skewers which was fun activity. We went to black island on a boat outing and swam on the beaches, snorkeled and explored the caves. They made it so easy to enjoy and explore the surroundings. We felt so lucky to have stayed here and enjoyed the property and have been recommending it to anyone we can for a place to stay on the island further away from Coron town.

Facing the beachfront, Cocovana Beach Resort offers 3-star accommodations in Busuanga and features a restaurant, bar and garden. The place is absolutely beautiful and the owners are so friendly and helpful. They helped us with getting around Busuanga, recommended places to visit and helped us to rent scooters, which made such a difference to our holiday. We had an option to order a really nice breakfast every morning, either continental or local. The beach area below the resort is gorgeous and we definitely plan on going back!

Busuanga
Located 1.8 mi from Rio Playa Beach, White Summerville Tourist Inn offers a restaurant, a bar and air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable, with large rooms and is great value for money. The staff at the accommodation can assist you with scooter rental and anything else you may need assistance with. Honestly I cannot fault how much the owners and staff are willing to ensure all your needs are looked after. They will go above and beyond providing assistance where possible and also provide fantastic suggestions to do on day trips around the island. This location of the accommodation on the island isnt far from many attractions and it's alot more convenient to base yourself here than in coron town. With a scooter you can access many tourist destinations yourself and organise boat rental through the accommodation too. The accommodation is right next to a tasty restaurant. Where they also employ many tourism students providing opportunities for the local community. There is nothing that the amazing owners will not do! We couldn't recommend this place more if you want to get a true experience for the Busuanga way of life! Thank you Queenie and Rodel for being such amazing hosts.

The resort location is beautiful and the landscape simply stunning! Its a great spot for relaxing during the day, the kayaks and paddle boarding were a nice afternoon activity, although it was a shame the jet ski was out of action the whole 5 days we were there! I would recommend the day trip to the private island - ideal. Disliked · We went over CNY and were hoping to have some more variety with options for food - the resort is located 45 mins from Coron town and was an expensive excursion (we paid $60USD in taxi's to go out for breakfast one day because the one menu at the hotel had exhausted our appetite) I would suggest more evening entertainment too - to add to the atmosphere, a playlist or a live band that lasts longer than 10 minutes, something classy and relaxing. The food was a real disappointment, I felt like I was eating a children's menu all weekend not paying children's prices. The rooms were lovely and big, although a little sparse on luxury based on the rating and cost. The pool and water activities are great though, although it was a shame the jet ski was out of action all weekend!
Busuanga is a great destination mixing relaxation and adventure in an amazing natural environment of white sand beaches and intriguing islands and reefs. Highly recommend Marina del sResort and Yacht Club to stay in and as jump off for all your adventures!
Really nice place in the Philippines! It gives you many opportunities for actively enjoying your vacation :) I went for an island hoping tour - highly recommend it! Great place for snorkeling and scuba diving - there are amazing reefs to visit :)
Big resort with amazing sea view, good food in the restaurant area overlooking on the sea and near by island where you can go for a dinner in the boat from the resort. Recommended before sun set to enjoy the scenery. Rooms and bathrooms very clean, staff kind and helpful. The whole resort is a lovely place, great views, pool etc. What we were a bit shocked is the food and drinks prices are very high, in comparison on the island opposite you will pay half and in the town 1/3 of the similar dinner. Also as the resort is located nearly 1 hour from the town the transport from the resort is very expensive. Paying this kind of money for room they should include pick up and drop off to the airport. It is 1,000pesos per person where in Manila you can get grab and for similar distance pay 300-500 pesos in total. We have rented a scooter for two days and travel 50mins to the town each day. The island hopping tours prices in the hotel are also double than in the town but None of the tours booked in the town would pick you up from the resort for the tour as it is to far so I guess that adding transport it would comes to the similar cost. I would recommend this resort to people who are staying in for few days just to relax enjoy in the pool and yoga classes.
Away from everything. Sit on your verandah at night with the geckos and listen to the sounds of the jungle. Not for those who want air con, hot showers and want to interact with others. This is a totally unique and wonderful experience.
The lack of road was the worst but also the best as Palawan Sandcastles is as far away from 'hustle and bustle' as I can imagine. I enjoy an adventure, even at 63. Thank you Danish girl who wanted advice for her mother!
