Located in Bohol, Coco Grove Tourist Inn is just a 5-minute walk from the nearest eatery and a short 10-minute drive from the Tagbilaran Airport. Wi-Fi is accessible for free in the inn’s public... The breakfast was nice but I would suggest you offer other menu like tocinno, hotdogs or omelet.
Operating a 24-hour front desk, The Royal Coast Tourist Inn is conveniently located within a 5-minute drive from Tagbilaran Seaport and the well-known Baclayon Church. Breakfast is great! Staff are polite and very attentive to our call. Room space and bed size is amazing. Will definitely return.
Great gate-away location for a long weekend. Very nice beaches, great food at very cheap prices. Very friendly people who are helpful with anything you ask. Great location for diving and snorkeling (but only if it is not too windy, otherwise the waves are too big to enjoy calm snorkeling) Not a lot of sight seeing to do, try to not it with a tour agency, but try to hire a tricycle and negociate an all-in price to take you to the interesting places. It takes longer, but it so much cheaper, and more fun.
If you want to write a book or just to get away with feverish traffics and pollution this is the place to be....cozy and homey....but you have to be cautious in crossing or walking the roads vehicles are way to fast...Great way to exercise too....
Panglao Island is a real paradise. Getting there is super easy. A 1 hour and 15 minutes flight from Manila will get you to Tagbilaran airport. From there to Alona it's a mere 25 minutes drive. We had our best snorkeling experience ever in the near Balicasag Island. You can book a tour dolphin watching-snorkeling and island hopping tour on Alona beach. Once you get to Balicasag, make sure you get on board one of the the small paddle boats which will take you to the edge of the coral reef. After you get back this great experience where you will see hundreds of different fish, you will still be able to go snorkeling right off the beach and see the sea turtles if you are lucky. However, if you do the turtles watching first, then you will not be able to hop on the reef paddle boat. We stayed in the Panglao Chocolate Hills Resort, the closest beach being Amarela Beach. This beach is quiet, local and clean, crowded on Sundays with local people, but almost deserted on weekdays. Alona Beach is more fun and very crowded. Shops, restaurants and a lot of resorts can be found here. The beach is not too enjoyable however, as most of the island hopping and diving tours depart from and return to this beach so catamarans are constantly berthing and leaving. Panglao people are super nice, but service is slow everywhere, so expect to wait for at least half hour for a meal to be served. If you are tired of the beach/sea activities, there are a few other touristic attractions you can enjoy: we visited the Tarsiers Sanctuary on Bohol island and the Chocolate Hills, however there are a few other places you can go to.
I like the beach as overall panglao islabd beach is great. No problem if you arrange for boat island tour as they will really pick you up in the nearest beach shore, just make sure you get up early(5:30 am) for more chances of finding dolphins. Motor renting/ riding is great way to stroll around the island.

Peter and Anna are very gracious and pleasant hosts. The resort is perfect if you want to relax away from the crowd of Panglao yet close enough if you like to take a dip in the beach (rent a motorbike if you want access to the entire island). The resort is near a Spanish resto which serves very good paella and Bohol Bee Farm which would be perfect for a taste of mouth watering organic dishes. Niro (their dog) is also very friendly and playful which is a very huge plus. The property also gives you privacy while in Panglao.

Steffi's Place is amazing. Steffi, the owner, is so kind and fun to be around. They will do their absolute best to make your stay as nice as possible. It's a good idea to sit back and relax here for a few days. You can rent a motorbike for a reasonable price and discover Panglao and Bohol as a daytrip. I had a great time staying in this beautiful, little paradise next to the sea. If you want, you can literally walk out of you room into the sea to start swimming or snorkling.

-Cleanest pool we saw in the Philippines, including 5 star resorts - although fairly deep -Very clean facilities overall -Having a workout facility was unexpected and nice -Room was small but very attractively designed -Bed was comfortable -Location is good if you're planning on exploring Bohol and not spending any time at Alona Beach -Hotel was helpful in arranging a motorcycle rental (500 from inside the hotel, 400 if you rent outside) -Nice toiletries provided

Very friendly welcome by Marc and Rose. The rooms as well as the outdoor areas are kept really clean. Good choices of breakfast and they also help you ordering food if you don't feel like going out. You get to rent a scooter for a very reasonable price and they also help out organizing your day trips if needed. Thank you again Marc and Rose, we had a very pleasant stay, and we'll be your guests again if we ever return to Bohol. Best Regards, Mario and Asami

I like that the manager is very amiable and very accommodating in terms of short-notice request for local transport arrangement. I planned on getting around on a motorcycle rental, but wasn't able to do so for a very valid reason (totally my fault), so i had to rent another vehicle to get around. The place is quiet, perfect for a relaxing couple of days. It's very near Bohol Bee Farm. A few minutes drive to Hinagdanan Cave and Alona Beach.

Everything was perfect. Hotel is brand new, ideally located when you want to stay out of the noisy Alona area. Standard rooms are nice, isolation between rooms is good (you dont hear your neighbors which is a luxury in Asia), pool is beautiful, restaurant serves good & affordable food. And most of all, John the owner and his team are adorable, making everything they can to make your stay pleasant.

The staff are very nice. The view of the Bohol waters from the main swimming pool is awesome. The garden around the resort is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Location is near Alona beach (15 to 20 minutes by van) and the Bohol Bee Farm (about 10 minutes). The food is good. Our family enjoyed singing with the band during dinner time.

Our room was at the top floor which was overlooking the beach and the view was a major plus. The place was clean and by the looks of the building it’s been built recently. The staff were nice and accomodating including the owner. The food was good and affordable. It’s kind of a remote beach resort, if you want a peaceful place.

Very nice spot for relaxing, meet some good company, get away from five star hotel and be what you are. The maneger and his colleague try to make the visitors feel like home. It is up to you to stay there or not but remember good energy makes your smile on your face... You dont belive...try it😁

Love the infinity pool and the tranquility of the private beach & isle. The restaurant offer delicious food in good value. At night, there are live band playing and singing for guests, which is very sweet. Staff in resort is also quite friendly and helpful.
