Absolute hidden gem and perfect for a few days of relaxation and quality family time. The Villa is beautiful with very tastefully crafted furnishings and stunning views. All meals exceeded our expectations and was freshly prepared and cooked onsite daily - delicious. Big thank you to Chris & Gemma for looking after us at site and for whom nothing was too much and a big thank you to our host Baltazar for wonderful remote support. Would definitely love to visit again. We loved the 10 minute boat ride from the port and the arrival which emphasized the wonderful seclusion and tropical vibe of the place from the outset. There are several breakout places which added to the overall Villa, grounds and views experience.

Kind, friendly and helpful. The family are lovely people and will go out of their way to accommodate you. I really liked the vibe around town - people are really friendly and welcoming, even when you are just walking down the street. Overall, I loved my stay in Donsol and would highly recommend staying at Aguluz.

Wonderful breakfast, perfect location next to the whale shark center, fabulous staff. Look, this is a property on a busy road, so headphones go a long way. The rooms are basic, but perfectly fine for a three-day stay. The menu is extensive and surprisingly interesting in terms of interpretation and creativity. (e.g. kinilaw included fresh orange juice, cucumber mango salad with a vinegar-honey dressing). The gals Dette and Jess were so lovely and attentive.

The host Alfred was amazing. He was the most kind host I have experienced. Very helpfull and even made a meal for me. The location is good, close to restaurants.

It’s a little bit of a walk and hard to find when you’re extremely hammered but the people you meet along the way make it all worthwhile. You will not make it back without being invited to a house for some food or drinks. Lovely people.
