I like how I was amazed by the aesthetics of the hotel. The overall quality service and how polite the staff are… they will bow down just to greet you which is quite a great feeling specially to my kababayans. Roger, who helped me alot when i faced a problem where my card is not being accepted and provided me suggestions to complete the booking! Will definitely come back soon.

The accommodation was a pleasant surprise with a large deck area and awesome views of the city and the sea beyond. We loved sitting outside, taking in the view and relaxing on the comfy couches. It’s up on a mountain, and we hired a driver to take us around to some of the sites nearby. There are gardens and the big draw is Tops, a popular destination at the top of the mountain. Myrna was wonderful and cooked us great breakfasts. There are two restaurants adjacent to the property.

The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, complemented by a large swimming pool and attentive housekeeping. During check-in, I casually mentioned my brother’s birthday, and the process itself was smooth and easy. To our surprise, when we returned from a family dinner, the hotel had prepared a birthday cake — such a thoughtful gesture from Nustar. Special thanks to Quendelyn, the lady who assisted me at check-in. She was professional, pleasant to talk to, and truly charming. Her service made me feel welcome from the start. Nustar is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. For three consecutive years, I’ve chosen Fili, but Nustar has exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be back for my next vacation. On the day of our checkout, the pool had just reopened after the recent typhoon in Cebu. I asked the front desk if we could extend our checkout to 1 PM, and instead, they graciously offered 2 PM — compliments of the hotel. That small gesture made me so happy, as it allowed us to enjoy the pool without rushing. Nustar truly delivers exceptional hospitality. DAGHANG SALAMAT!
