The location was great. The restaurant was surprisingly good, the tapa and the sugba items were particularly enjoyable for eating by the sea but they also had a diverse menu. The staff were really friendly, they helped us out when we pulled up onto the property with a flat tire. The room was huge. They have sunset music and a live singer on saturdays. The pool is clean and we had it to ourselves most of the day. Many of the other guests emerged closer to sunset. The beach is wide and clean. It's a brown sand beach but the architecture of the resort suits it quite well. We had a relaxing weekend and will return, maybe on a weekday so we feel like we have the place to ourselves.

We’re booked to stay at Sylvia’s matabungkay beach resorts...

We’re booked to stay at Sylvia’s matabungkay beach resorts but end up staying at coral beach club, due to the resort misleading pictures we thought its a queen bed plus double bed but it’s actually bunkbed, then the caretaker charging us for towels,blankets coffee hot water and kettle.very disappointed with their service.very rude caretaker.
