A really well-designed small hotel, with a superb pool and garden. Food was well-cooked, but strangely only one course available for dinner (no starters or desserts). Very friendly and attentive staff. Very comfortable beds and great pillows.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly—they helped us with everything we needed, even guiding us on how to get to Tablas Island and recommending great places to eat. The view from our room was amazing, overlooking the sea. The location is also very convenient—close to the port, the town, and Bonbon Beach.

I have never seen so much biodiversity in one place. Fish constantly jumping out of the water, tuna passing by, a dolphin, a turtle, kingfishers, bats, giant geckos...everything! The bungalows are beautiful. All solar powered and compost toilets - very nice and clean. Stunning sunsets from an essentially private beach. The food was very good, and the hospitality excellent. The island hoping was fun: in addition to the great snorkelling in front of the lodge, the marine park around the corner from the lodge has excellent snorkelling, and the final stop on Romblon island was also excellent: we saw small black tipped reef sharks. The lodge rent mask and fins and have a kayak and paddleboard.. A nature lover's dream!

Felt very authentic and not over touristed.

Felt very authentic and not over touristed. Had a great day renting / riding a motorbike around the island. Not nearly all the hectic traffic you see in some of the other spots around. Could have spent at least another day or 2 or 3 in Romblon city itself and finished the climb to the high spot on the island as well as bodied a few more beaches and done more snorkeling.
