What i like most of Sagada is the scenery itself, they value their customs and traditions so much. The place rather places i like most is Marlboro Hills, The Blue Soil, Danum Lake and Sumaguing Cave. The Food also is great and affordable too. When you visit sagada try to eat at Log Cabin try their dinner buffet by Chef Aklay he is a french chef. Most activities in Sagada are more on trekking see it for yourself. And lastly try the Sagada coffee.
A place seeking for adventures. Got to see the sea of clouds the next early morning. Trekking difficult for people not used to climbing rocky roads. But worth it when reaching the top. Didn't get to taste the lemon pie coz the store was closed during sundays and they should sell these pies without pre orders. Bought some potatos carrots bellpeppers broccoli coz of their cheap prices.
The trip there from manila takes 2 bus rides. 1 from 8 hours and 1 from 5 hours. And you will see mountains and waterfalls you can see in many other places. Only the hanging coffins are something that you won't see elsewhere.
Went to the rice fields, waterfall and underground cave, all amazing but very slippery as it was rainy season. Other than that though no complaints. Location amazing, locals friendly and good value for food.
I can’t say my favorite places bec we just stayed 1 day/night. We just ate where we stayed and just bought food at salt and pepper bec there is a very limited parking areas in most of the restaurants around sagada. And at the same time most of the roads are narrow and also there are so many vehicles that parks on the road. So you can just imagine. That’s why the following day we need to go out sagada w/o taking lunch bec it’s very crowded at the town proper where restaurants are located. Not that easy to go around sagada. The only experience that I can share is at least I have seen sagada. And I thank God that we went home safe.
I like everything about Sagada. Even if you have to walk/trek to go in different places. The restaurant offers a great value for the money. Most of the activities in Sagada requires trekking. But you'll surely like to do it.
