I recently had the pleasure of staying at Katre Hostel in Pacifico Siargao for the second time, and it was just as fantastic as my first visit. The experience really feels like coming home.
One of the standout features this time was the fully operational kitchen on the third floor. It's a great spot not just for cooking, but also for soaking in the breathtaking views of both the sunrise and moonrise—it’s truly a magical way to start and end the day.
Cleanliness is a big deal for me, and I was pleased to find that the showers and toilets were spotless. It really adds to the comfort of the stay.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring.

Location location location. This house on the beach has several different rooms but my room was wonderful. I had the room with the balcony and having the sliding glass door open with the ocean breeze and crashing waves sounds was lovely! Charlie the owner is an interesting and cool guy, very helpful. And he’s got some lovable dogs. If you’re a surfer, it’s just steps away. Highly recommend.
