My stay at IAO Hotel in Dapa, Siargao felt like an easy, cozy getaway with friends. The rooms were clean and relaxing, the staff were warm, and having a parking area made everything hassle-free. The WiFi was impressively fast perfect for chilling, working, or sharing our adventures online. And the best part is the café right next door, a place where you could study, do work, and chill. Their pastries and coffee were so good that it became our everyday go-to spot. If you're heading to Siargao, this place is a comfortable, convenient, and highly recommended stay.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here! We booked the place as it seemed like a chill way to cap off our Siargao trip - one of the best decisions ever. The simple and self-sustaining way of living in Anajawan is just amazing. I’m running out of positive words for David and his family - they are one of the best hosts I ever encountered. The kids took us to the other side of the island to catch the picturesque sunset the island offers. We got to work out at the best gym ever. David and his wife cook the best meals with the ingredients they grow on their own; the kids are also helpful as we see them prepare and serve the food and drinks. The sea, with its beautiful corals and plenty fishes, waved right in front of us waiting for us. David took us even farther out to catch a glimpse of the wonderful underwater forest. He even taught me how to swim and float, and saved my life couple of times! After swimming or walking around, you can just take a nap in any of the hammocks under the coconut trees. The experience was superb. The atmosphere was simply homey. Thank you soooo much again! Will definitely return to your wonderful home, Perry family ❤️

This was a last minute booking I made to avoid escape some toxic energy I found myself entangled in. I packed my bags & left before booking (on my way) and checked in to color hostel before they knew I was coming. They casually and gracefully showed me to my room which was very inviting with a comfortable bed, end table, clothing hutch and air conditioning. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable, prepared me dinner and offered me a selection of beverages and snacks that I appreciated very much. Being exhausted from the previous days, it was refreshing to not have to hunt for the items they had readily available for a very reasonable price. This couple’s kind and hospitable left me with an unforgettable respite. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Also! The neighborhood children were so precious and personable! They were so curious about me and went out of their way to say hi & interact. There’s so much joy in this place. Thank you Michael & Angel 🙏

I like the place you have a privacy and the caretaker is very much friendly and accommodating.. The place is near to the DAPA port and accessible in church, market and etc.

A lot of space, the owner paid attention to detail. Room and dining area is aircon. Spacious balcony area too and kitchen. It’s a great value when need a place to spend the night and get a lot of errands done in dapa. Manager of property was on point, friendly and so helpful when I forgot my keys he was 1 second away.

Family owned and they helped us get to and from the hotel and ferry port, even at a very early departure, 5 am. Local breakfast was convenient. They took care of some maintenance issues quickly. (Very stuck unit front door) The Balai Malinowon did have family suites, but they weren't available at the time I we booked. The Hotel is not in the busy, noisy and crowded Tourism Road of General Luna but close enough for convenience and fancier meals and entertainment. Siargao Island although famous for surf events is new to high volume Tourism and the local resources: streets and side walks, Tourism activities and sites haven't caught up with the demand. But some of them are exceptional and beautiful with many locals getting needed economic opportunities and happy to be Good hosts. Overall a nice family time and experience for ages 8-74.
