Away from the city's hustle and bustle, the last building in the village brings tranquility, situated on a hill in a jungle, with a garden full of lush vegetation, and cool mornings. We felt safe and slept well. Benjamin is always there with advice and recommendations. Kristine cooks fresh and tasty food, priced at decent rates. There are two common areas to relax and admire the landscape or vegetation, and they also have a pool. Located halfway to the underground River tours, it's ideal for the morning pick-up of the shared transfer; you're picked up last, so you avoid the crowds and stops at other hotels, then on the return, you're the first to be dropped off, which is wonderful because you're tired after the tour. You can reach Porto Princess city or Honda Bay Wharf by public bus or shared van if you want to try the Island Hopping Tour. They also offer transportation or you can move around with a scooter, which they have for rent, by bus, or shared van. It's so pleasant here that we extended our stay by another day. We loved the service at the retreat. From the moment we booked, to the late evening that we arrived, to the day we left, the staff was so helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. I many many plans with the concierge via what'sap and I was a little nervous that things would go as planned, but everything was perfect and they went above and beyond what we were expecting in terms of tours, meals, and the accommodations. We actually had family that decided to join in on our adventures the day before our arrival. Even though my family stayed at a different hotel, the staff was able to rearrange plans and incorporate them in all our adventures. Food was also excellent. The food was better than the restaurants we at at in Palawan. We always looked forward to going back to the retreat to have our dinner. View from our room was spectacular. I was able to watch the sunset one morning and while it was a little obstructed through the trees, the colors in the skyline could still make its way past the trees. The trees just added to the scenery.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ! Great please to stay. Awesome pool, clean rooms, good restaurant, good WiFi, nice shower , beautiful view and very helpful staff. The staff always had smiles on their faces and was willing to help. Could not recommend hotel palacio more !

The staff and the owners were really warm and welcoming, breakfast was provided each day, even on days when we had an activity scheduled- breakfast was packed for us. Exceptional hospitality, they also run their own tours. Location is good as well, you have easy access to tuk-tuks who can take you around to restaurants. Brian and Pearl were brilliant, would definitely recommend staying here!
