CroatiaWe stayed at this hotel in El Nido for five days in November as a group of friends and booked two rooms. The rooms were stunning, beautifully furnished, and equipped with modern amenities like a Smeg kettle, Dyson hairdryer, and more. Every day, we received fresh bottled water, which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast was outstanding. Although the menu is fully vegan (and I’m not vegan), the experience exceeded all expectations. There was an impressive selection of pancakes, muesli, smoothies, and more. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Sky and Nette, who made our stay truly memorable.
The hotel also offers a free airport transfer service, which worked flawlessly. Hotel is ideally located near the port, where boats depart for boat tours. We booked all our island-hopping tours directly through the hotel, which was extremely convenient. The evening before, we’d select our lunch preference for the boat trip, and the next morning, the guide would pick us up. The hotel even provided complimentary towels for the tours, which we could return later at the reception—a thoughtful and practical service.
The rooftop terrace is breathtaking, with a panoramic view of El Nido Bay. You can enjoy meals there from their restaurant or even order from a nearby Chinese restaurant. With so much to do within the hotel itself—delicious food, incredible views, and even an on-site massage service—we could have easily spent the whole trip just enjoying the amenities.
This was truly one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting El Nido. It’s an unforgettable experience!

The hotel itself feels brand new, is modern, super clean, with high-quality linens, amazing shower and a very comfortable bed. The Dyson hair dryer was a fantastic touch that really exceeded my expectations!
The location is also very good. It’s not right in the middle of the chaos, but you can walk to the main restaurants in just 5-10 minutes. The complimentary airport shuttle is another plus.
I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Location wise - 10-15 min walk from a beautiful beach and 1 min walk from two good restaurants (Green hill and Jungle bar). A short boat ride (taxi boat) or isch 30 min tuc tuc ride (bumby road but so worth it) from Port Barton.

SwitzerlandIf we could, we would give more than 10/10. It was amazing! The Staff took care of us in the best way we could imagine. Cris and Loraine were really on the top and there when we needed them. Dan was also amazing. Not to forget Elmir the driver, he kept up the great mood.
The rooms are spacious and great. The nearest beach and restaurants are just a few steps away. And the best part that it is more much more peaceful than in El Nido itself. Would suggest rather staying here and renting a scooter or trike if youd want to get to the beaces or el nido city.

The rooms feels like 5* Europe with all the little details thought of. The interiors are incredible.
Nacpan beach is just 5 mins away by scooter and is one the most beautiful beaches we have ever visited. It is quite far (30 min drive) from El Nido town, but definitely a better choice to be out of the town and we were so excited to come back to our paradise each evening!
You will either need to rent a scooter or spend money on tuktuks.
Milky is incredible, protect her at all costs, she is such a great member of the team. One of the other guys even helped us get a spider out of the room. Great service all round.

BelgiumEverything was perfect. The rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant is amazing, we went there from breakfast to dinner. At dinner you can sit on the beach with your feet in the sand and they organize events like film screening, local dancing. You can chill by the beach during the day, which is quiet and not touristy or you can rent a scooter. Everyone is very friendly and always happy to help. They also have 2 very cute dogs.

A truly unforgettable stay at Lagen Island 🌴✨
We travelled as a family with two children (12 and 11), and from the moment we arrived, the entire experience was seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely warm.
The door-to-door airport experience was excellent — from pick-up to drop-off, everything was smooth and well organised. The airport lounge in El Nido was also a great touch, allowing us to relax comfortably before departure.
The rooms are of an exceptional standard — beautifully maintained and immaculately clean, with high-end amenities that really elevate the stay. The Dyson hairdryer, Bose sound system, in-room yoga and Pilates equipment, and thoughtful touches like complimentary sandals, hats, and a resort bag made it feel both luxurious and personal.
The dining experience was fantastic throughout — a great variety of food, from delicious pizzas and fresh salads to perfectly cooked fresh fish. The wine selection was also impressive, making evenings especially enjoyable.
The excursions were a real highlight. We joined both the complimentary experiences and a private boat tour with picnic — which was simply wow. The quality of the boat, the food, and the overall service were outstanding. Our kids absolutely loved snorkeling and using the underwater scooter (Subnado), which added an extra layer of fun and adventure.
We also had the chance to visit their sister resort, Pangulasian Island — a beautiful spot and perfect for sunset while the kids enjoyed more snorkeling.
What truly sets Lagen Island apart, however, is the people. The service was impeccable throughout — warm, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. Every single member of staff we encountered was amazing at every touchpoint.

The rooms circle the pool (crystal clear), restaurant and pool table and are all on ground level so everything at your doorstep. The room was a good size for 2, comfortable beds and pillows. Large shower (not a lot of water pressure, but sufficient). It is a little oasis. Book tours easily for hotel pick up. Not much to see in the surrounding area but a short ride into town is inexpensive. The staff are lovely. The guests have been very chill and respectful in keeping with the quiet vibe. I really did relax here - perfect for me!

Two Seasons Coron Bayside Hotel may be the best hotel in Coron. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel provides everything the guests need to make them feel at home: beautiful Coron bay view, restaurant for delicious food, fitness center for body building, massage and spa for relaxation, infinity swimming pool, pathtub, airport shuttle (P350 one way). You can book island hopping tour at reception counter. In all, I recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a comfortable and first-rate class hotel in Coron.

Amazing stay here for our honeymoon. We stayed in a water villa and was worth the money. They also did a honeymoon set up as a surprise for us.
The facilities are endless so much to do. Peurto Princessa was the last leg of our trip and we spent the time relaxing here.
We also went to the mall which is 15 minutes away, got dropped there by the hotel van.
The hotel also has trips to the underground river you can organise with them.

The island has an amazing house reef, best I have seen and in great condition. The staff were well organised and very friendly. Special mention to the following people who made our stay exceptional: Jun, Apo, Charlo and Tim from the restaurant, Nikko at the front desk, Daniel who helped book our dives. This is an amazing 5 star hotel. It’s absolutely paradise. The location was incredible, the restaurant was superb, the spa as well. Fantastic service. Everyone in the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this incredible resort. It was quite expensive for the two nights we stayed but I think it is not overpriced, it is appropriate to the exceptional.

The Sevendo Comando beach is so nice but the back of the small store has all the dirty secrets - the trash are everywhere, it's dirty and not well maintained. I hope the local government put more trash cans and deploy more cleaning staff to make sure its cleanliness is maintained.

Local people are polite, cheerful and helpful. Easy to get around town by tuktuk, although streets are narrow with no sidewalks. Staff at bacau bay are well trained in service. Staff were attentive to requests and offered assitance readily. The sunset viewing deck and bar was an exceptional experience. There are no accessible beaches around the town of coron, but there are plenty of tours to coron island. The ultimate tour was an amazing experience, especially snorkling in corel reefs, and swimming in pristine lagoons

The city is fantastic, a mix of city and well preserve tourists spots like the underground river and the Sabang river. The love of nature and its will to take care of the island despite being a tourist destination of the world is commendable. PALAWAN is definitely a must go and see. The city is not exploited , the food is very good and the price fear.

Less known area of Palawan.
Less known area of Palawan. San Vicente offers clean beaches with very few people, island-hopping tours and some little hikes for the more adventurous (also accessible by tuktuk).
Great for a quiet holiday at the beach!

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping.
If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home.
Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February.
To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town.
A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.

If you visit Coron or the proper name 'Busuanga' Island, make sure you get out of the main Coron town and stay around the island. There's a good mix of accomadations to choose from and plenty to explore. You can chat with locals and find much more than the common tourist trips.

I stayed in El Nido for 4 nights which was plenty, I enjoyed wandering around the town at a slow place. I recommend the boat trips, zipline, and canopy walk. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars too

Aside from Mount Tapyas there isn't really a lot to do in...
Aside from Mount Tapyas there isn't really a lot to do in Coron Town itself (aside from eateries and souvenir stores), so one should definitely book a tour. We loved snorkeling at Siete Pecados; because it's a protected marine sanctuary, the corals are healthy and gorgeous with lots of fish to be seen (please keep it that way by not going too shallow and stepping on the corals). There was a bit of a current when we were there, so good to be watchful for that. Kayaking in the Twin Lagoon was another highlight, so peaceful and relaxing. Kayangan Lake was too crowded for our taste and it was quite annoying to have to wear the life jackets (since we're relatively good swimmers). I don't know how many shipwrecks there are on the various tours, but the one we saw was overrated if you're not a freediver. Mount Tapyas is doable if you're reasonably fit (though it did leave us with muscle ache the next day and we run short distances regularly). Go at sunrise or sunset to avoid the heat, or on a cloudy day like we did. The view is great and it's a fun little activity you can do in-between.
