We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s very cozy and beautifully designed, with a convenient shared kitchen located right next to the room. The swimming pool was especially refreshing, both during the day and in the evening. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They assisted us with arranging a tour, scooter rental, and transfers, which made everything so easy for us. The breakfast was also lovely. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again.

My stay at Amari was absolutely AMAZING! Although the hotel wasn’t fully open and some amenities were still unavailable, I still had a fantastic time. The location is perfect for anyone going on tours, as it’s quite close to the beach. The service is top-notch, and the infinity pool is simply beautiful. Everyone was incredibly kind and always willing to help, and the rooms were fully equipped and very comfortable. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which is a great bonus. I believe that once the hotel is fully open, it will be a truly magnificent place, and I hope I get the chance to visit again :)

Hands down the best accommodation in El Nido! Wow. I never comment on these review platforms but an exception must be made. Why? The staff of Z Garden Hotel are exceptional at the service that they provide. Every bit of detail and attention is given to you. Any questions I had were all given a response with sometimes even extra details that thought of things I didn’t even. I was warmly greeted and made to feel at home throughout my stay! Special thanks to Elize and Rence. Superb!

Piece Lio is an outstanding resort nestled in the Loop estate within walking distance to Lio beach and many great restaurants. The staff at Piece Lio were amazing and helped organise our transport from Puerto Princesa (I would highly recommend flying direct to El Nido instead though as the van trip is incredibly long and winding) and day tours which we were able to pay on checkout. The room itself was spacious and nicely furnished. We had a nice garden view of a small jungle. The room comes with some nice little welcoming snacks and drinks as well as being equipped with a nespresso machine where you can just ask for more pods if required. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our stay at Ursula Resort was simply amazing. The entire team was super friendly, helpful, and took care of all our requests and needs immediately. The whole place is designed with so much love. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The feel of the place great and unwind while also enjoying great adventures. I highly recommend taking a day tour to the islands, which can be booked directly from the hotel. We visited three islands and experienced breathtaking natural scenery, adorable fish, and an impressive variety of marine life. I recommend to plan the arrival on the day because of the tides. A huge thank you to the entire team at Ursula Beach Resort – I can’t wait to come back!

A truly unforgettable stay at Lagen Island 🌴✨ We travelled as a family with two children (12 and 11), and from the moment we arrived, the entire experience was seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. The door-to-door airport experience was excellent — from pick-up to drop-off, everything was smooth and well organised. The airport lounge in El Nido was also a great touch, allowing us to relax comfortably before departure. The rooms are of an exceptional standard — beautifully maintained and immaculately clean, with high-end amenities that really elevate the stay. The Dyson hairdryer, Bose sound system, in-room yoga and Pilates equipment, and thoughtful touches like complimentary sandals, hats, and a resort bag made it feel both luxurious and personal. The dining experience was fantastic throughout — a great variety of food, from delicious pizzas and fresh salads to perfectly cooked fresh fish. The wine selection was also impressive, making evenings especially enjoyable. The excursions were a real highlight. We joined both the complimentary experiences and a private boat tour with picnic — which was simply wow. The quality of the boat, the food, and the overall service were outstanding. Our kids absolutely loved snorkeling and using the underwater scooter (Subnado), which added an extra layer of fun and adventure. We also had the chance to visit their sister resort, Pangulasian Island — a beautiful spot and perfect for sunset while the kids enjoyed more snorkeling. What truly sets Lagen Island apart, however, is the people. The service was impeccable throughout — warm, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. Every single member of staff we encountered was amazing at every touchpoint.

This resort completely exceeded our expectations. Having stayed at multiple high-end resorts, I can attest that this resort is up there with the best. The villa couldn't have been better, with a calming view overlooking the sea. I was absolutely delighted with the à la carte breakfast, which offered plenty of fresh delicious options. The facilities are very well-thought-out, with beautiful and inviting décor, and are impeccably maintained. The island has plenty of nature to appreciate, from its lush vegetation to its different bird species, hermit crabs, monkeys, and some very shy monitor lizards. The resort has a decent range of activities that can keep you busy and entertained on rainy days (if you get them—we did [Oct'25]). The massage therapists were excellent. We took some island hopping activities which were absolutely unforgettable. The resort guide showed us around the big lagoon in kayaks, and afterwards we swam in an amazing spot where we got to view lots of coral fish, blazing-fast 40kg jackfish swimming around us, and sea turtles! Last but not least, the staff surpassed all levels of customer service we have ever experienced—it was quite simply the best, most attentive, and warm and professional. Our stay was short, but El Nido Pangulasian was able to capture our hearts, and we will definitely return many times over.

We had the most beautiful stay at Panorama. The food was excellent and breakfast each morning was amazing — we spent five days here and honestly could have stayed much longer. The staff were truly incredible: warm, attentive and genuinely lovely, which made the whole experience feel very special. The location is ideal if you want to explore El Nido, but it’s also perfect if you just want to spend the day by the pool eating, drinking and completely switching off. In the evenings there’s a DJ, which adds a great atmosphere, yet the rooms remain very quiet — they’re beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Panorama is also a perfect sunset spot with the most stunning views. It’s easiest to get there by motorbike or tricycle, which can drop you at the top of the hill, followed by an easy walk down along the cliff.

The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking—one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen in our lives. I love El Nido but I hope the local government and public agencies would take care of the city more. The Sevendo Comando beach is so nice but the back of the small store has all the dirty secrets - the trash are everywhere, it's dirty and not well maintained. I hope the local government put more trash cans and deploy more cleaning staff to make sure its cleanliness is maintained.

Local people are polite, cheerful and helpful. Easy to get around town by tuktuk, although streets are narrow with no sidewalks. Staff at bacau bay are well trained in service. Staff were attentive to requests and offered assitance readily. The sunset viewing deck and bar was an exceptional experience. There are no accessible beaches around the town of coron, but there are plenty of tours to coron island. The ultimate tour was an amazing experience, especially snorkling in corel reefs, and swimming in pristine lagoons

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

Aside from Mount Tapyas there isn't really a lot to do in...

Aside from Mount Tapyas there isn't really a lot to do in Coron Town itself (aside from eateries and souvenir stores), so one should definitely book a tour. We loved snorkeling at Siete Pecados; because it's a protected marine sanctuary, the corals are healthy and gorgeous with lots of fish to be seen (please keep it that way by not going too shallow and stepping on the corals). There was a bit of a current when we were there, so good to be watchful for that. Kayaking in the Twin Lagoon was another highlight, so peaceful and relaxing. Kayangan Lake was too crowded for our taste and it was quite annoying to have to wear the life jackets (since we're relatively good swimmers). I don't know how many shipwrecks there are on the various tours, but the one we saw was overrated if you're not a freediver. Mount Tapyas is doable if you're reasonably fit (though it did leave us with muscle ache the next day and we run short distances regularly). Go at sunrise or sunset to avoid the heat, or on a cloudy day like we did. The view is great and it's a fun little activity you can do in-between.
