Incredible property run by very hospitable people. It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed at, and has the great fresh food from their farm and orchard. It also a stunning view of the Passu Cones.

Forget about fancy, domestic-popular, mediocre and overpriced overhyped Karimabad. The real gem is the Wakhi village of Gulmit Gojal, a 30 minutes drive from the local bus station nearby Aliabad. Peaceful and quiet village facing the river and the Karakoram mountain range, a short walk from Hussaini suspended bridge, and the jeep departure point to the secluded and beautiful Shimshal valley. Ideally and central located but quiet from the main road. A rarity in Gulmit considering that other places are often overpriced and mediocre quality. The welcoming and friendly Ahmed's family is the real gem here, a truly Wakhi hospitality and care for its customers, knowledgable about Balstistan and its culture, adding a value to what is already the best option by far compared to its competitors. Highly recommended.

Super hotel! Beautifully located, overlooking the mountains of Skardu. The staff were beyond welcoming and hospitable. Nothing was an issue and they made us feel very welcome. Our room was super spacious, with a living room attached and balcony to take in the views. Very good air conditioning, wifi and powerful shower. Excellent breakfast buffet, with lovely balcony area attached to the dining hall with fantastic views. We would stay here again without question!
