An end of the world.

An end of the world. Used to be more lively when the border was more active. Now it feels like a sad place to live. Not that any other place in this region of potato fields looks much better. "Chilli's kebab" is really good though, so if you are driving through this place (like I did), don't hesitate to visit and grab a bite there, you won't be disappointed.

A beautifully clean town, beautiful, square water, Fountain and local shops. Things to be aware of to buy anything you want for your room on Saturday and Sunday all of the shops are shut. Pack some earplugs just because sometimes there are a couple of jolly people in the square that can sometimes be noisy. This was the case on Sunday night. We had a couple of gentlemen that were singing songs in the square, which was lovely, but very loud, and it was so warm that we need the windows open.

Hotel Bartis is located right in the centre of Bartoszyce, on the market square. 5 minutes from the hotel, there is a beautiful park by a river - perfect for dog walking. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast gave a sufficient choice of tasty food. The extra cost for a dog was just 30 zł, which is perfect. The hotel staff were very pleasant.
