Excellent location, modern hotel with very nice design of the rooms, the hall and the restaurant. Breakfast includes a big and nice buffet with lot of choices. The restaurant provides also nice meals. Very cosy atmosphere and the personnel is friendly and efficient.

We have arrived at the hotel around 3 in the morning. We were very much pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the gentlemen at reception made us feel. He was very friendly and professional. The room was very clean, great size, everything needed was there including tea/coffee facilities. The location is hard to beat. Perfectly located at the beginning of the walking street it is only a few steps away to main attractions, a huge shopping mall is only 7 min walk away

Clean of course. Loved the bathroom :) We had a lovely cozy balcony. Yup, if the trip was longer I would have loved to spend more time in the room :D . Hopefully on my next visit.

I greatly enjoyed the visits to the museums and also my trip to neighbouring Gdynia and the fine museum there. As a 70 plus pensioner I get free bus and tram travel all over Poland and I was particularly happy to see the way the city is prospering after its tragic history and near total destruction in the Second World War. I found a delightful Spanish restaurant for a lovely lunch and will return both to the hotel and again to enjoy good Spanish [and Polish] food. Do not miss the Old Polish Post Office, the scene of heroic resistance in 1939 and also the new museum, which can be reached by bus from the Main Station and also the town hall which on the top floor has a most interesting exhibition of the Danzig Free City, which existed from 1920 until 1939. The main tourist office is a great source of help and information, one tram stop from the main railway station.

Lovely city. Plenty to do. The weather made things a bit gloomy but all in all great place to go. We visited old town and the attractions around it which were all still open and running during our stay in March. Plenty of restaurants - all very affordable. Majority of citizens were lovely - but i would recommend learning as much Polish as you can before visiting!!

An amazing city with so much to see, we had four days and could have used at least another two days. The tourist pass you can buy at airport or tourist offices gives access to 20 attractions inc Zoo, museums and viewing towers 72 hour pass £13. The old town is beautiful and great to walk around day or night and there are hundreds of restaurants. Prices at restaurants are very good value with a meal and beer around £30 for two people in the restaurants we visited. Tram tickets work out around £1 per 75 minutes journey time so you can change trams to get to your destination. Museum choice is huge and varied; 2nd World war, maritime, 1940's coal steamer, solidarity, town museum and many more. Zoo had Tigers, reptiles, primates, camels, buffalo, red panda and lots more. Summing up its an absolute hidden gem and we had a brilliant time there.

My first to Poland, and i absolutely love Gdansk. The old town is nice, the canal is nice. Fantastic restaurants, bars, and very good prices not expansive at all. People are friendly. Very good experience I should probably come back to Gdansk in summer

Gdansk is a lovely Town it's extremely easy to navigate.
Gdansk is a lovely Town it's extremely easy to navigate. The architecture there is lovely as are the people, nothing is too much trouble. We ate in different places but all as good as the other. I especially like The Blues Brothers, a little pub near the river. We walked everywhere but did go on the train to Sopot so as we could see the sea. We flew from Cork so very doable as a weekend away.

Gdansk is a bustling, bright city , full of brilliant bars for all tastes. The sweet parisian style bar, the cosmopolitan Winstons bar which is like an old gentlemans bar and the fun irish bars and some excellent restaurants. The christmas decorations are still up until the end of January which is quite mad but pretty and its a fun , weekend place.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had! New apartment, exactly as on the photos. It had everything I needed: towels, bed sheets, hairdryer, dishes. I liked how spacious it was. In the bathroom there is a very nice mirror with lightning. Less then 10 mins by walking to the Old Town. A couple of grocery stores right near the house. And very friendly host 😊
