Debki is a typical Polish town on the Baltic coast, which lives from tourism. Fish, waffles, zapiekanki, ice cream - what more could you want. They have an ideal location for trips to the west (Leba - moving dunes) and to the east - Gdansk, Gdynia, Malbork, Hel, Krynica Morska. The beach in Debki is beautiful, you can also swim here in the mouth of the Piasnica river, the sea is shallow for a long distance.

Dębki is a true gem on the Baltic coast—peaceful, charming, and full of surprises. We were genuinely impressed by how beautiful and well-kept this little village is. The beach is the main attraction, and it exceeded all our expectations: soft, flour-like sand, calm and shallow waters perfect for swimming, and a surprisingly clean environment even with many families vacationing there. It’s ideal for kids, with gentle waves, a shallow sandbar you can swim to in minutes, and almost no seaweed, rocks, or sea creatures near the shore. One of the most special features of the beach is the small river that flows into the sea—it creates a natural separation between two sides of the beach. Kids love playing in it, and you can even rent kayaks for some light adventure. On one side, you’ll find a lively, family-friendly area with several beach bars that turn into dance spots at night. On the other, further past the river, is a quieter section that includes a nude beach and more space to relax in peace. The village itself is cozy and walkable, with gift shops, cafes, and everything you might need within reach. We stayed in a mobile home just behind an ice cream shop where we’d grab waffles or cake for breakfast—it felt like a chic apartment tucked in a beach town. The property even provided a windscreen, which we used as shade. We recommend bringing a soft blanket or an inflatable beach mat to make your beach days even more comfortable. Another unexpected highlight was the forest just next to the beach—you can take a shady walk, breathe in the piney air, or even pick wild blueberries. Dębki is the perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and low-key fun. We had such a memorable time and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Whether you're with family or just want a quiet escape by the sea, this little Baltic village has so much to offer.

Good place with lots of places to eat, wide beaches. Could have more things to do at the water perhaps, like I wanted to rent a SUP and could not find such nearby. Also there is little in cultural things. One detraction was that it was not easy to find places with English menus, everything is in Polish - even the tuorist attractions, like the lighthouse!
