Small charming town with good combination of nature and...

Small charming town with good combination of nature and culture and varied food. Long sandy beaches are wonderful yet often windy but the weather follows its own rules. Generally it’s a very good place for relaxation. Don’t complain about the prices because they are what they are and you are on holidays. Choose a boat trip or bike rides (easy to rent a bike) or just walk, and visiting Fokarium is a must. Food is good (especially grochowa soup) at Franek Dolas restaurant.

We travel to Hel every year with my family.

We travel to Hel every year with my family. The beaches are clean, the sea fresh, beautiful area full of forrests, ideal also for bike rides. There is a brilliant (possibly educational) walk all around the beach, wheelchair and stroller friendly from which you can see both the sea, local flora, read about Hel and watch a sunsent on the bench. Plenty of fresh smoked fish, shrimp, also local resaraurants are great. Plenty of activities for children including exotic butterfly exposition, many museums and seal rescue.

Hel peninsula helps you slow down and relax.

Hel peninsula helps you slow down and relax. There is a lot to discover. The town of Hel with fishermen musem and fokarium. Military fortresses hidden in the forests with the both military and ethnographic exhibitions. Boat trips to Gdynia and Gdansk. It is better to use car as little as possible, there is only one road with quite a lot traffic. Foot, bicycle, train and ships are better options. Some travellers may find place too cold, but that is Baltic sea.

The caravan is located in the backyard of Burger Na Fali (very good burgers :) It’s right in the Main Street of Hel, but still in a quiet neighborhood. It’s only a 1 minute walk to the city beach. We were 4 people, not a lot of space, but it was great for us as a family. Not luxurious, but clean and we had all we needed:)

The hotel is very close to the city center and the room was practically the size of a small apartment. There is no kitchen but there was a kettle and microwave. There is an option to use the parking lot for a fair price. The staff is very nice and gave us the opportunity to use the parking lot even after checkout.

The hotel was modern, the room and bathroom were clean and well furnished. A good location, near to the main pedestrian street, and the port and town beaches. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful - I was able to park my bicycle securely.

Helski Brzeg apartament is in a great location, very close to beach and restaurants. Very comfortable. Having all listed and swimming pool and sauna mark that property as excellent.
