A city of culture and history.
A city of culture and history. Enjoy the Old Town, taste the local flavours, see the Hebrew poems and murals written on the walls, visit the Majdanek concentration camp for its dark history, see the wonderful exhibitions at Lublin Castle, experience a medieval Central European town in Lublin Open Air Museum. Lublin is perfect for a weekend getaway.

Lublin is a city in eastern Poland with a charming old town and a lively student atmosphere. I was there on June 6th during the festival, and the streets were full of music, food, and people celebrating together. The castle and old gates looked even more beautiful with all the decorations, and the whole city felt warm and welcoming, with a mix of history and joyful energy.
What I didn’t like, however, was the attitude of some official bodies toward Ukrainians — for example, I faced a problem with one Polish bank, which left me with a negative impression despite the festive mood.

Lublin's old town is small, but very interesting and cozy, especially in the evening. There are lots of small cafes and bars, and charming Lublin goats. I'd love to go back there with friends and spend a couple of evenings in one of these cafes.

I was born in Lublin but I'd never had a chance to visit...
I was born in Lublin but I'd never had a chance to visit properly until now. I'm truly glad I had a chance to see how beautiful my hometown is. It's absolutely breathtaking and even though I live in 'the most beautiful city of them all' (a quote from Walczyk o Łodzi) I must say Lublin is the most impressive place ever. Its location helps emphasise the beauty of the architecture and makes you stop every couple of steps just to gaze at the amazing views. The Cathedral - Archikatedra Lubelska - truly takes your breath away but all the other churches are worth visiting, too. There's also a great place to offer some tourist information at 1/3 Jezuicka - they even know the old names of streets there (more at lublininfo), which was very helpful as it was a memory lane trip for my Mum who graduated from school in Lublin but since then a lot has changed, some street names including. We ate 'cebularze' from LSS Społem and from Piekarnia Kuźmiuk and can recommend both. If I decide to go sightseeing again, I'll go to Lublin - I think it's possible to just keep wandering there for months and still enjoy it. Lublin has all the features of a proper town - the river, the Old Town, the beautiful old buildings and perfect views. My Mum has never forgiven my Dad for taking her away from Lublin and now I can understand why.

Lublin is a small and beautiful city.
Lublin is a small and beautiful city. Great restaurants with value for money. Friendly and young population. Whist waiting outside the apartment was asked by a young woman if she could help as we looked lost. Would recommend as a relaxing short break for anyone .

We came to Lublin to watch the conference league match between Dynamo Kyiv and Crystal Palace. The hotel is ideally situated, close to the station and to the football stadium. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. Just a single bed with a fairly thin duvet. Nevertheless, we slept well and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet in the morning was really excellent.

Very good position at 5 minutes walking distance from the center of Lublin, easy car parking in the garage below the hotel. The Room was comfortable, bed was excellent, high standard of cleaning and the hotel Staff was very professional. We will come back.
