Convenient location close to S5/A1 highways. Very clean. Sauna and swimming pool were small, but clean and nice. Great staff.

The location is excellent and only a short walk to the town square. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The proprietor, Piotr, is an exceptional host. He is gracious, engaging, sensitive to his guests needs, and is caring and generous beyond compare. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hotel Karczma Cheminska for it’s location, delightful ambiance, and its consummate host. A small bit of advice for first timers planning on taking the train to Chelmno: first take the train to Bydgoszcz Glawna; then at Bydgoszcz Glawna, inside the train station, look on the departure board for departures to Terespol Pomorski; this appears to be a commuter train and is not a destination you will find on the PKP Intercity train website; take the train to Terespol Pomorski; once there catch a taxi for the last several km to Chelmno. We found Rome2Rio.com quite helpful in posting train schedules and frequency.
